  • New



    General:

    • On mobile devices, the timer is now updated in real time while dragging the delay slider, when giving an army Delay March order.
    • The hints and quotes on the loading screen are now displayed in the language you play the game in.


    Bug fixes:

    • A bug was fixed that prevented the player who triggered the victory timer in Capital Rush Event game rounds first from winning, if another player conquered more Control Points after the timer was triggered.
      • If player A conquers enough Control Points to trigger the victory timer and player B conquers more than A - then Player A wins the round now.
      • The player (A) that triggers the victory timer first receives 1st place and the Gold payout in that game round.
    • An issue was resolved that could cause the construction info for buildings which are being constructed or are in the construction queue to display wrong values. The construction info panel shows the correct values now.
    • A bug was fixed that could cause the building details panel to show incorrect values when the building was damaged or halfway through an upgrade. The panel now displayed the correct value for the fully built level of a building even during construction.
    • An issue was resolved that showed incorrect images in the newspaper when using the beta client.
    • Historical images were added to the newspaper in the beta client.
  • General:
    • When a province revolts and joins the nation of another player, a Front Report is issued informing both players.


    Bug Fixes:
    • An issue was resolved that caused rockets to count towards players casualty statistics when they hit units. The event also incorrectly triggered a newspaper article informing of the rocket's destruction.
    • A bug was fixed that caused another player than the one who triggered the Victory Timer to win a Control Point game round, when a player managed to gain more victory points after a player triggered the victory timer.
      • If player A conquers enough Control Points to trigger the victory timer and player B conquers more than A - then Player A wins.
      • The player that triggers the victory timer first receives 1st place.

  • Release Notes - 2021-08-31

    General:
    • We reworked the popup that informs players about an impending defeat in Dominion game rounds.
      • Province list with not captured Control Points was replaced by a list of players that occupied the needed number of Control Points to win the round.
      • A timer is displayed next to players who managed to occupy the required number of Control Points to win the round, indicating the remaining time these players need to hold the Control Points to finish the game.
    • In Dominion games, the content of the “ranking” tab in the victory progress panel was replaced with information specific to the Dominion game mode.
      • When a player collects enough Control Points to start the timer, the content of the tab is replaced with the impending victory/defeat popup (see point above). It once again is replaced with the previous content if the timers are aborted.
    • Useful tips were added on the loading screen.
    Bug Fixes:
    • A bug was fixed that caused a wrong travel time to be displayed in the tooltip of planes when the plane was sent to a new location from a patrol mission instead of an airfield.
    • A bug was fixed that made it possible to intercept and destroy rockets or deal damage to them. Rockets cannot be intercepted by any units anymore, as intended and mentioned in the unit description.
    • An issue was resolved that prevented Victory Points in Dominion game rounds from being displayed correctly in the province bar of Control Point provinces.
    • A bug was fixed that caused the “Patrolling” status to be displayed in the army bar of planes when the plane was just relocated to another airbase on the map.
    • An issue on America Homefront maps was resolved that caused large border lines to be displayed across countries.
    • A bug was fixed that prevented ranged units from immediately opening fire on enemy ranged units when they were moving with offensive or aggressive fire control, or when they received splash damage.
    • An issue was resolved that caused some units to take long detours when movement was initiated by the AI, after the player did not login for a while.
    • A bug was fixed that caused the incorrect chat tab to be displayed when exiting and re-entering chat. When you exit and re-enter chat the previously selected chat tab is displayed now.

  • Attention, Generals!

    We are very excited to announce a brand-new event for Call of War – Capital Rush!

    Capital Rush combines several of the most popular event features of the game and brings them on one of Call of War’s most iconic maps.

    In this new event you join a 100-player world map with an activated Point of Interest (POI) feature on which all players fight for themselves. Capital Rush is a free for all without teams or peace periods at the start of the round.

    To win this event you will need to conquer 30 POIs! If that wasn’t hard enough already, the POIs on this map are the capitals of your opponents!The signup for the premier of Capital Rush starts on Thursday, September 2nd 2021 at 11am CEST and ends on Monday, September 6th at 11am CEST.

  • General:
    • The maximum zoom level was increased to allow you to see the entire map when zoomed out to get a better overview on all maps.
    • The gold rewarded ad feature was further optimized.


    Bug fixes:
    • A bug was fixed that could prevent an army consisting of different unit types from receiving damage in combat under certain conditions.
    • An issue was resolved that caused the player information to be displayed behind the About Team popup on mobile devices.
    • A bug was fixed that caused defending airplanes to deal more damage than attacking ones, even when the damage values of the attacking airplanes were significantly higher. Attacking and defending airplanes now deal the expected amount of damage in combat.
    • An issue in the new beta client was resolved that prevented the next level of a queued building to be visible in the build menu. Buildings are now properly visible in the Construction menu of the beta client.
    • A bug was fixed that prevented the User Interface (UI) from switching to the mobile UI when activating mobile view in the game settings on desktop.
