Heavy Tanks are slow so dont worry too much, just have militia/infantry units in major cities. Slowly send some AT and TD to branch out in France but dont worry too much, you can also use attack bombers.

I do like the idea of 1v1 maps and had a lot of fun with those on Supremacy in the USA vs Mexico 1v1 scenario. I think the English channel map wasn't that fun. I believe a different map might be better though!
