Once you turned off troops scrolling improved? Just getting all the facts so that we can try this to help provide the devs with enough information that they can find a fix.
Submit a bug report reason select player report then mention the person, game number in question. Once you do this a Game Operator will handle your report and investigate the issue.
Lets try something out that I saw worked for someone else, can you turn off troop locations? The only thing about this is if it does what I saw from someone else this allows the map to load, but once you turn them back on will crash the game. But if this works then we will know it is something to do with troops.

We had a problem later on but it should be resolved for about 99% of the players now. If you are still having issues submit a support ticket and we will check it out.
- The unreliable asset loading seems fixed. - Currently the team is updating some certificates which block games from loading - after that... that might be it then (Fingers crossed)
