In mid-1950, Japanese troops crossed the Manchukuo Demilitarised Zone into Chinese-controlled Liaoning, threatening the town of Hsinking. In response, the People's Liberation Army, spearheaded by the 36th Armoured Brigade, crossed the line north of Seishin-Chongjin. Rocket artillery bombarded enemy positions while troops, many veterans of the civil war, infiltrated the enemy's front line. forum.callofwar.com/index.php?…5667cc773822f8c1500c3746c Opening of the operation forum.callofwar.com/index.…

Quote from kifx1e: “its the only one who can damage panzers efficiantly ” Except possibly in Axis, tactical bombers do more damage to heavy armour than attack bombers do to unarmoured. However it is true that attack bombers on their own do more damage to light armour than tacs and are better against ships. Also, you may want to change that pfp with the visible swastika and obvious uniform of likely the worst war criminals of the 20th Century to something more wholesome, partly because it's again…

I'm interested to see how this plays out and would love to see Colombian motorised troops ride through the Mexican capital. Keep it up! IIRC Mexico starts with 2 cruisers in the Gulf, off Texas. Probably some subs or destroyers too. Quote from Brando Dilla: “(the other player being British Egypt, who is getting clapped by Romania). ” I love historic modes.

Quote from TheZhukov: “i would like to know what PvP k/d scares you as players, or at least causes you concern, mine is 2.5+ ” It depends. Even 10:1 isn't all that scary if it's an obvious grinder who only joins America:Homefront. If somebody mostly joins Antarctica and Doomsday matches and has 1/3 wins or more, any ratio above 2:1 would be scary

Unfortunately I have not been able to post updates for the last 24 hours. However here we are. ---- The battle for South China was finally won. Communist troops entered Yunnanfu, greeted by a cheering population. Finally, we drove Nationalist and Japanese forces from the Luichow Peninsula. Japanese ships were sunk by rocket artillery, an action which a French destroyer squadron sent from Indochina watched with interest. forum.callofwar.com/index.php?…5667cc773822f8c1500c3746c The Red Army enters…

Quote from ComradeGenz: “Wow, this is so nice, also philosofic as hell lol. ” Thanks! Although how this is philosophic eludes me. Little to report right now. Update is likely to be in 8 hours.

Historic World War simulates economic development with industry. Most undeveloped countries don't have resource shortages, they're just not industrialised. Also, in the Second World War India wasn't really comparable to Africa either. It was actually fairly highly industrialised, not so much as Europe or even Japan, but still considerably more so than more of Africa. It was an extremely profitable colony. Re manpower, it simulates not how many people you have (that is population, which except fo…

Quote from Carking the 6th: “Are you going to go solo or join a coalition now? ” I don't know. I never thought I'd get this far To be honest, I was thinking the game would end before I had the chance. There was an axis coalition that might have been useful to join. But Australia is becoming powerful too. I don't think I'll go for solo this time but it depends.

Diplomatically, there was now some good news: the CCP had successfully opened relations with two countries in the Middle East. Both were willing to support the Red Army -- Iraq recognising the Yan'an Soviet -- and were our first formal allies since the collapse of the Second United Front. forum.callofwar.com/index.php?…5667cc773822f8c1500c3746c Japanese troops ignored the de facto ceasefire and landed at Yingkow just behind the de-militarised zone. While the first wave was easily thwarted, the s…
