Quote from Nostroma: “I've been looking through these forums but have not found a topic that explains why troops in sea transport cannot be upgraded. Any answers? ” I interpreted “ why ” that the thread owner was saying in this context to be appropriateness rather than game mechanics or rules. 1. Burden on Game Developers 2. Hobbies of game players 3. Discrepancy with reality you are pointing out the above points any of view, doesn't it?

Quote from z00mz00m: “It appears that my dislike of revolts pales in comparison to their love of statistics. ” Perhaps your analysis might opposite causality. Not because I already have a degree of like to dislike against civil rebellion at least me. At first I love genuinely statistics, so I hope for civil rebellion.

Quote from cryptic.myst: “I have gotten that before also, but my money value never goes up…. Or I cant add lol ” The result is natural conclusion. The “Disrupt Economy” will cost you $4,000, but you'll get less than $1,000 from a single spy at most. So the balance is usually negative. However, from a comprehensive view, this cannot be said. Because, in extreme cases, if money: (target) resource = 1:30 in the "Stock Market", then $4,000 is invested, so even if can be destroyed only $4,000 ÷ 30 ≒ …

Quote from cryptic.myst: “spies can steal money / resource, but you wont get it. They destroy it, or keep it themselves not sure which. ” Anyone cannot steal resources such as food, goods, metal, oil, rare materials, and golds but everyone can steal money. The image capture says “ ( Someone ) stole $1,298 in taxes. ” in japanese.forum.callofwar.com/index.php?…d75f84736a1299549d73b1b16

Quote from DxC: “I've added an option in dxcalc to simulate variance to mimic the way the game does. It's a checkbox at the bottom of the page as shown below. It's kind of fun to just click submit and watch the "HP lost" and sometimes number of rounds change. I will go ahead and explain some of how it's implemented and then comment on some unknowns. If I get information that conflicts with what it's currently doing from Freezy or someone like that from Bytro I'll update it. forum.callofwar.com/i…

Quote from Armymac3000: “But why would you want the chance of defeat when your troops/vehicle are clearly better. ” Because war is not even a battle, and it doesn't always end with just a fight with enemy soldiers. In other words, BECAUSE some spies slips into the one's own country, terrorists appears, economic stagnation occurs, leakage of classified military information, be damaged facilities, local residents may turn into guerrillas, friendly soldiers may stage a coup, neutral countries may a…

Quote from DxC: “Quote from Lord Crayfish: “Nevertheless, I think the element of chance should be there (I would say damage should be affected to around 20 per cent on each side of the nominal value). ” I'm not sure if you are trolling or not, but a random +/- 20% is already applied to the damage potentials in each round of battle. This is in the wiki. I'm not sure what the actual distribution is, but in my experience it is below expectation more often than above. ” Let's look up the mathematica…

Quote from cycle9: “Both the revolt and popularity "features" are advertised as a counter to 'big' countries getting too big too fast. In fact both system negatively affect ANY player that ventures outside his core. Both also have very unrealistic rationales, which alienates many players. The distance to capital penalty is another absurdity; are Hawaiians are despondent since they live so far from Washington, DC? ” I think it's a taboo story though, Hawaiians, even if they are not despondent, ar…

Quote from Armymac3000: “I understand your concerns, but this is a game. There is a massive difference between the real world and the real lives lost and the families destroyed. I simply want a mechanic in a game to be improved or removed. In no way do I support any form of violence in the real world. At the end of the day this is a game and in a way, the game is a sport. I think we can agree to disagree. Also that was beautiful writing on your end. ” It is better that a game is a game for me to…

Please understand that war is not a sport and that there are players who do not want this game to become a sport. I believe that the essence of war lies in the intermingling of people's thoughts and desires to move forward with various intentions and motives. I don't want the results to converge to predictable results. Because everything is inexplicable, because there are uncertainties, ironic endings and cruel decisions are necessary.

Originally, it was difficult for a unit intended to attack a unit on the ground to intercept a unit on coast. On the other hand, it is certainly dangerous to be attacked during landing. Both of these stories are true. However, both story have exaggeration. The former might be rounded off by stories of being hard to hit. The latter might be rounded off the issue of armor or shields.

Quote from z00mz00m: “It's not reasonable. A unit busy disembarking should not be nearly as effective as a fully deployed army unit. What was the tactical (local) ratio of attacker to defender during D-Day? Even with overwhelming air and navy support, it took multiple times as many attackers to dislodge the defenders, at heavy cost. Let's not even get into other, failed amphibious assaults. Disembarking transports should be extremely vulnerable. The current behavior is completely wrong. ” There …

Quote from 6thDragon: “I like the idea of disbanding units and have expressed support of this in similar threads. I think it only works for units of the same type and level. For example, if you have eight damaged infantry units, 25% health, you could turn them into two at full health or four at half. Essentially transferring the survivors under a new command. There is plenty of historical precedent for this. ” Reorganization itself is affirmative. But I may prefer the one that requires time and …
