Updates: Days 17,18 The Sino-Norwegian border conflicts erupted into open war. After Norwegian artillery fired on communist troops on Chinese territory in western Sinkiang, their betrayal was obvious. CCP irregulars had infiltrated and captured the city of Almaty, on the Xinjiang border. After the opening of hostilities, the city fell instantly. Meanwhile, PLAN seaplanes bombed the Norwegian fleet in the East Sea and submarines closed in to monitor their movements. Unfortunately no photos could …

Quote from Brando Dilla: “I already have plenty of AA in the city, but yeah, I'll get a couple arty there too. Making my first nuclear bomber! ” Researching nuclear rocket in the China game. More for fun than anything. Quote from Kolonnos: “Don't BB outrange Artillery?... That's why I suggested placing the arty along the coast.(If that isn't correct, please excuse me.) ” BB outrange artillery, but artillery have the same range as cruisers; per hitpoint, they are more effective against cruisers t…

Quote from K.Rokossovski: “I'm so surprised that this is even an issue. The chat system looks and feels as if it was built in the 20th century, I wouldn't consider using it ever. Had my share of usenet groups back in the day. ” I don't play too many online games, but aren't most chats like this? It works.

What exactly do you mean? How does this differ from the list view?

Quote from Brando Dilla: “This has already been suggested several times, and short and long answers have been given by the Bytro staff. Short Answer: No Long Answer: This would take a seriously long time and lots of effort to perfect this kind of programming. Furthermore, these weather patterns would always benefit certain countries/regions more than others. Also, introducing yet another complicated game mechanic will make new players even less likely to continue playing the game, resulting in a…

Our mission in Korea was complete. The Japanese imperialists had been pushed out and an independent, communist Korean state allowed to form, its capital based in Pyongyang, formerly Heijō. They would continue to recieve foreign aid from the People's Republic, but were now able to live without Japanese oppression. forum.callofwar.com/index.php?…7a544ce2aaf3697b9469a59fc Their work completed, our volunteer PLA forces withdrew from the peninsula, and were greeted by cheering crowds and an air force…

Quote from Brando Dilla: “My coalition has 620 points, only behind the Germany-Italy-Japan coalition "The Axis", all of whom have gone inactive. ” I'm rather surprised by the fact that the "Axis" coalition actually contains the historic axis countries. The one in my ACAI did too, but in most HWW or CoN it's random (usually axis-doctrine) countries. Keep it up! And good luck with the USA.

The Korea campaign advanced steadily. The Japanese advance had been halted, and heavy artillery bombardment was breaking the stalemate on the Shunsen Front. forum.callofwar.com/index.php?…7a544ce2aaf3697b9469a59fc Image is out-of-date; Communist troops have since advanced south, and the border area has been ceded to Korea. ---- By early 1953 (by my estimation; 2 hours into Day 15) the world looked like this: forum.callofwar.com/index.php?…7a544ce2aaf3697b9469a59fc Thanks to the efforts of the Co…

Quote from Brando Dilla: “Personally I don't waste resources on Rockets. But that's just my opinion... ” Neither do I, especially not anti-ship, which is why I'm not using them like that except once. However, I am going to use what I've got against air bases if needed. Projected enemies whose identity remains classified retain large airforces which would be crippled, but a bomber raid is too risky.

Under the wise oversight of Chairman Crayfish, the People's Republic of China reached an understanding with the Dominion/Republic of India. Previously, the two had signed a treaty regarding the matter of Xinjiang, promising peace; now an alliance was on the table. British India and British Egypt also formally allied, laying the groundwork for a coalition. forum.callofwar.com/index.php?…7a544ce2aaf3697b9469a59fc The coalition is sealed. The last military action (IRL 24 hours ago) by the PLA was t…

PostNew Unit Thumbnails
-
According to this Reddit thread, the unit thumbnails have been altered and apparently look ugly. Fortunately this isn't affecting the game I'm in, since it's 13 days old, but will affect any future games. The UI is a big part of the game and if I think it's ruined I will probably quit. Can somebody who's joined a game since the update provide some screenshots of some of the units? I want to see if they're really that bad. Devs, we love what you do to keep the game we all play running well and to…

PostQuote from Destructo the Great: “nah, battleships is still the king of the oceans for me, cruisers are just too weak ” How do you use them? Mahanian doctrine or attritional? Or just bombardment without sea control?

Quote from Brando Dilla: “Now Colombia has two egrements: 1. The USA is trying to attack Colombia, and only offered peace because he knew his units were in a bad position and/or needed more time to assemble more stacks 2. The USA is not planning to attack Colombia; the incident at San Juan Del Rio was a misplanning by American officials, and he is planning to fight elsewhere. ” Just like Khalkin Gol.
