  • Quote from _Pyth0n_: “Quote from thegreasegun: “I think producing a mix of the vessels is best ” I know, that is the point of having 5 different types of ships. The point is that cruisers are the most versatile and can deal with all other naval vessels effectively. Obviously, it can't deal with a 10 stack of battleships, or a 10 stack of subs. They do, however, deal moderate damage, unlike the low damage battleships do to subs and planes, destroyers do to naval ships and planes, and subs do to o…

  • Quote from _Pyth0n_: “Maybe he's using it as a sandbox game. I am currently playing as Egypt in an Europe map as the only active player. I'm using it to further my knowledge on the Allies doctrine, test out if elite units really are worth researching, and maybe even try nukes. And weirdly, I don't have the retire option (is there a set day you have to wait till? I forget). It's kinda like playing HOI4, without all the overcomplicated mechanics ” I never retire unless I have to because of mainly …

  • I think you should produce a balance of troops. If you want to produce only one type of unit, go for it. But then, your opponents could invest in a counter-unit. So, I think you should produce infantry together with other types of units such as armor and artillery.

  • I think USSR or France are solid options. I prefer USSR because as France, you've most of the time gotta deal with Germany, if you win, then you basically dominate Europe, and I have done it once and won, but if you lose, you'll most likely go inactive. The USSR also has a great economy, letting you produce without worrying about running out of resources. Even though they have a bad army in the beginning, leveling those units would make dozens of good units instead of infantry lv 1s.

  • I am not that good at dealing with heavy armor, but as mentioned before, artillery and AT could work well. Or some other choices are AA guns and heavy armor itself against heavy armor. I think a mix of a few would do the best.

  • I think Call of War is better mainly because the starting armies on CON are so small, and the graphics cause some lag.

  • I always put a destroyer in a flotilla with a Battleship since battleships are vulnerable to submarines.

  • I've played for almost 2 years. Joined in 2020.

  • Well, if you can't decide, then upgrade both!
