  • Don't expect a lot of historical/geographic accuracy with the resources and the regions. On the 22 player map, Pittsburgh gets food instead of metal and Stalingrad produces goods instead of oil. Just consider the availability of oil in general on any map compared to historical distribution of production. Game balance was the bigger concern over historical accuracy.

    Oh, I thought got the level of the fort substituted for the stealth level. I didn’t realize a level 1 scout unit could see any level of fort. Thanks for the clarification.

  • Back to the OP, generally you should only build in rural once your urbans are all maxed out. Sometimes I get stuck getting one up to max level when it’s in the city with a resource that I don’t have as rural.

  • Why wouldn’t you build them in urban on day one? That’s what I do. The return on investment is much higher with urban. Industry is largely the same only difference is urban industry increases the cash production too.

  • Speed maps. It takes 2 real life days for players to go inactive but the game happens at four times the speed. Of course, it helps if you don’t sleep yourself.

    There are maps you can play that don’t allow gold use. You have to go very out of your way to find them. Bytro does allow some sanctioned gold/card free maps. I’m playing in one now as part of the Alliance World Cup. Warning they bring out very good players.

  • Your home defense will help along with the fact that you're axis and defending against commies, but you'll lose that fight. You'll drop those units to about 1/3 strength, so they won't be worth anything after winning the battle.

    I say let these suggestions keep coming. Bytro has created an amazing game, but has chosen a horrible way to monetize it. They need to be reminded of the error of their ways. With that said, yet, players need to have eyes wide open that this is literally the most common suggestion, probably behind hospitals.

    We confirmed the existence of a new stealth bug. In my current "game" we have two neighboring provinces having a stare down. One has a level three fort the other has a level 4 bunker. Both should afford the units in the province center the stealth ability. Both can see each other's units. The only scout units around are level one armored cars and interceptors.
