  • Hawaii is the designated IgnorAnt country that has 'invaded' one province from each player on the 50p "america " map. Those first time players are assigned a mission to take back that province. They also are awarded advanced units and ++ resource production. None of which is enough to keep 98% of them from quitting the game within the first hour.

    The bug where outdated intell remains on the GUI long after proven wrong; even when friendly units are right on top of the false intell!

  • There have been many problems with the stealth/anti-stealth mechanisms over the past few months. This case is likely one example. Since the down grades to CoW -1.5 started, all programmed controlled countries are considered "Elite AI". The behavior has not improved, however. The poor programming often results in undefended cities while sending units far afield to capture unguarded provinces of the enemy.     Game ID 7417508, 20 (twenty!) provinces from West Yakutia revolt to Queensland at the end of Day 18. Adding to the expansion penalty, and of course, all 20 provinces are far from the Queensland capitol, hence an extra -30 'distance to capital' penalty There should be a "accept/decline" option for the receiving country.

    The news and espionage menu continue to throw errors. The espionage 'reports" tab has long delays in updating after day change, and sometimes does not update for a full 24 hours.

  • DcX is correct. The decline in combat effectiveness is slower than the decline in HP. Thus, 2 50% health units will still be about 60+% combat strength. combing them to a single 100% health unit at 100% strength would lose 10-20% combat strength. [totally ridiculus mechanic, of course, but that is CoW-1.5 all over again!]
