  • Planes for Carriers

They are stationary when patrolling unless the carriers get out of reach, then they go back to the carrier and stand on the deck. All planes except strats and rocket fighters allowed on board.

  • Finland overpowered

    K.Rokossovski - - Questions and Answers

    Post

Well the Finns didn't stop Stalin in the winter war ONLY because the Red Army had just been purged and wildly incompetent... they also had a very effective and well-trained army themselves. Even today the NATO leaders were VERY happy when the powerful Finnish army wanted to join; they have a WAY better army than double-their-size countries like Belgium or Greece. So no, I don't think they are OP.

Quote from DawnLong: “I see a lot of players use commandos. Are they good? ” The short answer: No. The long answer: Everything considered, in the light of their abilities and their drawbacks, while also keeping their cost in mind, and after careful consideration, this particular unit is not good.

  • It is just a visual issue. Issue any order to them and they'll be aboard the carrier again.

Wouldn’t make sense to add them like that. Plus I don’t see how this is much different from any other hospital suggestion… ” ” ” Aw, just one more...

  • This is one of the oldest recurring suggestions on this forum; it just so happens that it wasn't re-suggested for a while, so I'm afraid no one gets credit. I for one, think the regular destruction of buildings during capture is quite harsh enough as it is. Lets be honest, most of your conquered territory usually has zero buildings or some half-destroyed barracks or smth, some positive exceptions aside. Do you guys really want those to be demolished as well? Conquest should always be a march int…

  • 1) What map are you talking about; 2) There's many countries that only have one province to pass through to get to the capital; why would Germany be different?

  • I'm not sure what the discussion is about, but some sort of involvement from an Asian province claimed by a European power might be important to understand the background of the issue.

Quote from Talvisota: “Sometimes I wonder how the modern state of Russia is still unified as well. ” Westerners can't understand the love that the people of Russia feel for their country. Not their government, but their country. No matter what bad stuff happens, famines, suppression, kleptocracy. Millions died for it in WW2, even the staunchest opponents of Stalin became brave heroes dying for it. And that attitude still exists. I know we all love our own country to some degree, but the Russian'…

Quote from Hifive5: “How is everyone doing ” That's about the least interesting subject to discuss. You REALLY don't wanna know what's going on in my bowels.

  • The map is only about post-1933 period.

  • Erm... there's a big "Reply" button at the bottom of each thread...?

  • Concentrate your forces into max two stacks, and respond to moves he makes by putting troops in positions that will give you positive odds in battle. Not all is lost, you're at a disadvantage but troop strength doesn't say everything. There's plenty of battles like this that I've won. Truth is, VERY few players really know what they are doing.

  • SPAA/Interceptors?

    K.Rokossovski - - Questions and Answers

    Post

Quote from JASLOLY: “Then probably just use interceptors and keep patrolling over your troops when you’re inactive ” That is extremely bad advice. Patrolling over the battlefield when you're offline should be avoided at all times. Quote from You-Know-Who: “ I produce SParty, med. tanks and mot. inf. for my land force, so I don't need regular AA. ” A very common misconception. MT is ONLY dragged down by normal AA in the plains and the mountains, in all other terrain their speed is about equal. Gi…

Quote from You-Know-Who: “I know. But they still had to reinforce their divisions sometimes, right? Or Hitler's favourite, the SS would disappear. ” Actually it did. SS troops were almost always committed where the fighting was heaviest, it cost many young German fanatics lives, and German enthusiasm became low to be recruited; it was volunteer, after all, the draft was only for regular army. By the end of the war most of the Waffen-SS was volunteers from the occupied territories.
