Of course there's money in a classic game... the player base would explode, all those people now thinking "Ah just another P2W" could be kept and no one objects to some easy-entry subscription system (many "honest" gamers already have no objection against paying for HC). So many monetizing schemes to think of which are perfectly acceptable, it's just that the "pissing contest" one is the worst you could come up with from a gameplay perspective.

Unfortunately Bytro is a very limited-horizon thinking company. They are not interested in making a classic game (which they are actually quite close to), which would of course require a level playing field (chess wouldn't be known today if you could have bought an extra queen for 10 camels a thousand years ago), they are only interested in the immediate returns of opening up every opportunity for players to click money links. That's unfortunate, but that's how it is.

When you want to be a major player in the mid/late game, you have to invest in your economy early on. In the early game, I try to keep my cities busy building industry and recruiting centers ALL THE TIME (and yes that is hard), at the expense of unit production. You must conquer and take the loot to do that as well; this means you must learn how to conquer using (mostly) your initial army. That's a subject for another thread though. When you ask about production time, there's a trick called skip…

The exception is when BOTH sides have stealth units, i.e. they both cannot see the other. They can walk through eachother indeed, though you can't conquer provinces like that (when it happens on the dot). This is considered a bug by Bytro, though it must be pretty low on the priority list for it has existed for over a year. Still it may get fixed in any update though.

PostThese are very difficult things to judge from our armchairs. You could also argue that he was a classic and perfect "soldier", in the sense that he did his job (soldiering) and kept out of politics; just like we assume a perfect soldier should do or we would soon have a military junta in power everywhere. Another thing that speaks for him is that he served in Africa and the Western front, while the bulk of the atrocities and war crimes were executed in the East (though that may be considered an …

All three of those are in the Hamburg time zone, yes. Others are as well.

I don't have any problem with the way time is represented in the game. (I should also note that I live in the same time zone as Hamburg)

PostQuote from NEPTUNE the great: “Favorite general is Erwin Romell (Also known as the dessert fox) ” Yeah, he could eat like a kilo of Tiramisu, two banana splits and an entire plum pudding after his steak. His favorite was Poire Belle Hélène though.

Well the Finns didn't stop Stalin in the winter war ONLY because the Red Army had just been purged and wildly incompetent... they also had a very effective and well-trained army themselves. Even today the NATO leaders were VERY happy when the powerful Finnish army wanted to join; they have a WAY better army than double-their-size countries like Belgium or Greece. So no, I don't think they are OP.

Quote from Beaulion: “Hi ” Wait... HOW many identical twins does this guy have?

It is just a visual issue. Issue any order to them and they'll be aboard the carrier again.

Medic
PostQuote from -VIP-: “Quote from Claudio NVKP: “Quote from Claudio NVKP: “Medics are included in the units already. ” Quote from Carking the 6th: “There were no such dedicated brigades in ww2 armies, just medics within brigades. Wouldn’t make sense to add them like that. Plus I don’t see how this is much different from any other hospital suggestion… ” ” ” Aw, just one more...

This is one of the oldest recurring suggestions on this forum; it just so happens that it wasn't re-suggested for a while, so I'm afraid no one gets credit. I for one, think the regular destruction of buildings during capture is quite harsh enough as it is. Lets be honest, most of your conquered territory usually has zero buildings or some half-destroyed barracks or smth, some positive exceptions aside. Do you guys really want those to be demolished as well? Conquest should always be a march int…
