Quote from Carking the 6th: “ I’ve played Turkey many times, never seen this battleship. But ether way this doesn’t change much, you can get 2 level one battleships and 3 cruisers level 1 cruisers pretty quick, and then work with planes to crush the French fleet. Like yeah sure you can say they could take out Turkey, but that’s a given. The Japanese can take out China and Germans the Poles, but even then I see them loose when those wars start on day one sometimes. Nothing is guaranteed, as long …

I just won a solo with them mostly thanks to the inactivity of Britain and France. Turkey can not expand and achieve a defensible border area without starting a war with a major power. If either the British or the French, or the Soviets set their eyes on Turkey, Turkey is done for. There is nothing Turkey could do if these powers send their fleets to bombard …

Quote from Brando Dilla: “Quote from z00mz00m: “Quote from Brando Dilla: “If it's war on day 1, and the German player doesn't know what he's doing, you have a chance at survival, if you build the right units, take advantage of opportunities, and stay out of range of the German artillery. If it's war on day 1, and the German player does know what he's doing, then you're dead meat. There's a difference. However, in the first scenario, you can very well win, provided you play efficiently and don't …

Quote from z00mz00m: “I agree with the general strategy: be friends with Germany, or if you can't, don't worry about the colonies and focus on all-out war to save the core of France. My recommendation is to not "spam" a lot of low-level units, crowding forts and waiting for Germany to smash into them. It's difficult to win that kind of war against an active Germany, who has better Axis units and starts with higher research levels across the board. The way to gain the upper hand is to identify 2-…

It all comes down to alliances (as it is the case for most of the European countries) and player activity (as it is the case for most of the games). In the first scenario, I assume average activity on everyone's side. For France, the best thing to do is to ally with Germany; the alliance with the UK is nice, but not crucial. If France and Germany are allies, they are going to dominate Europe. If France, Germany and the UK are allies (the dream team), they are going to dominate Europe plus Africa…

Quote from german anime boy: “well i mean people who are under 30 (such as me) arent always goofy stereotypical teens who get bored after day 3 so maybe lower the age to over 20 as i think you are really limiting your options with the over 30 age limit ” I didn't mean to be disrespectful. Of course it is just a vast generalization that can not be true to everyone. Yet, in all my games so far most people left, thus the name of the game was defeating AIs as soon as possible. In my last game I didn…

I see little point in this, especially if the enemy still possesses a strategically important position. The only reason to make peace is when you push someone out of a continent, but you are not threats to each other. The typical example of this is when Turkey / Iran takes the British and French colonies in the Middle East, and when South Africa takes the African colonies.

Quote from Mark Dethief: “Since I like action and encourage taking Action I have made an Alliance from scratch Spartan Commando [SC8] Please Read the Details before applying Thanks ” My thoughts exactly. I'm 33 and suffering from the same problems you've mentioned. I'm an MD by profession, won all my games so far, but I only played against human players once. I don't want to join another game taking the 29th pick out of 30 just to see the whole AI-controlled world under my command before day 20.…

I for one use motorized infantry and armored cars in early game. Most of the targets are unarmored, one units excels in attacking them, the other on defending against them. The bonus of the light tank becomes irrelevant with the arrival of the medium tank, which is a heavy armor target. Yes, the light tank is faster and cheaper, but it is easily compensated by the medium tank's strudiness and differrent armor class. If one goes for a MI+LT combo, it is easily defeated even with tactical bombers …
