  • level 3 militia is ok. 4 is not that far away. They are handy trailing a pack behind the army. With Xiang in HWW I didn't start with many infantry so didn't bother. I've never used infantry to escort artillery. If it works out I just go with half anti air and half rocket artillery upgraded together for speed and upgraded armored cars. I then spam artillery a week later and get them up to level 5 as rocket 3 is upgraded. Anti air is the next best to anti tank against armor ( about half ). The mil…

    Playing 1939 HWW. One transport with a couple miltia is shooting left and blinking on and off. When I see it long enough to click on him i can stop it but there's no going anywhere. Other transports are ok it seems. Ships are ok except if i run it through that area without going to the next dot in area of transport. It's like Bermuda triangle. I may need to avoid that water.   • With 300 victory points so far even with moral low I'm making 8 times my countries resources from conquering. Full economic development to the hilt might get you to 2 1/2 times. Plus the looting is really lucrative. I can't remember looting being so rewarding a couple years ago. Even a province will bag you a thousand. And gotta love those supply drops.

  • Armor Cars are weak against buildings. Tanks hit buildings a little more. Best land unit is the commando against buildings. Artillery is really good. Best building killer is the Strategic Bomber. Rockets are great for that too.

  • if the programmers could fit improving accuracy of arrival times in somewhere this year, it would be great. Going through enemy territory at half speed, then normal speed after the dot to the border, then half speed again. Assume all battles are done in one swipe. Right now its half speed all the way, and the arrival time doesn't change even after hitting the first dot. Have to redraw to target to get new arrival time. I think.   • You guys are right. A few months back, there was an issue where two militia at war would pass by each other and take each other's previous province. Now I'm in a war of militias and don't have faith that that can't happen anymore. Seems pretty good.

  • Not a bad size when zoomed out, but when zoomed in, it covers a big area and covers track lines or artillery ranges. I know it is a bit transparent, but it is hard to see underneath. Could it maybe shrink as you zoom in. Or have something to click to make it switch to left of mouse pointer instead of the right.

  • I think if someone starts a game and hasn't given a single command in 4 hours the computer should immiediately take over and the country become selectable again.

  • I like those builders. Maybe my handle should be vulture. Focusing on getting the biggest army can leave my core short on resources to upgrade my army plants. Love finding level 4 and 5 airports and bunkers in my travels. People upgrade these even though their research is still level 1 and 2. Complete waste for them, really good for me.

  • Militia aren't great for running with the artillery. They are very slow. Upgraded infantry can keep up. I don't use the infantry as much as most, though I will keep them leveled up and defending cities. The offensive thrust would come from 15 to 20 army stacks of rocket artillery, artillery and anti air, along with an armoured car for vision.
