Sometimes I also experience this. I will send my units to somewhere else within my country and they will cut a corner into another country because it is faster. I will have peace relations with them and this still happens. I do not think that this is a big issue, rather a small inconvenience.

The idea of having temperature affect the units sounds nice. I don't think it should be a separate terrain but a penalty on top of that, say -20% speed to most units (commandos probably not affected as they are specialised). If you have a cold penalty though you will also need a hot penalty, in the deserts.

Province Names
PostThat would take a lot of computer power as there are hundreds of provinces in every game and there are many games, multiply those together and you have a huge number. This is also a purely cosmetic addition so it will take a lot of computing power and give little to the user in return.

As many pointed out, there will be cheaters and people who exploit the spectator mode. Also what would happen if people just do not fight each other in the final or the other games? This is working as intended. On province morale you will see the chance of a province revolting and then if it does revolt then the units there can die or join the country that the province joined. You can easily counter this by taking a capital last and keeping units there as the capital will increase morale and the units in the capital will make the chance of revolt 0, alternatively you can place a few units (probably militia) in the province. The game has been changed, SBDE values have changed and are now 10 for all stacks. Victory points have been changed so all cities have 10. The research tree has been modified and now there are specific buildings for each branch. You no longer require a higher level building to produce units. I think these are the main changes that have occurred. Take note that 1.0 games go by the old rules and are not affected by these changes.
