The recent fix/buff of AI game-play and increased difficulty in suppressing revolts have been GOOD for CoW. I do NOT find the improved AI or the increased chance for revolts to be unreasonable; rather, I find them to be useful incentives to better planning on the part of players. I hope that this tenacious, petulant AI continue in future iterations of the game. Seriously, please don't nerf it. CoW is a STRATEGY game... Players should be required to make reasonable decisions to get ahead, not jus…

Making the AI smarter and increasing the possibility of revolt in newly-acquired provinces have been GOOD for this game. The previously-common yet unrealistic strategy of sending a bunch of lone AC careening forward in all directions from a breakthrough (or landing them in an isolated spot half-way across the map) has been partially mitigated; that is, the strategy can still be employed but tends to be less effective. Players must be more sensible in their battle planning now. And cheers to that…

When in doubt, refresh page. If that doesn't help, then follow these instructions carefully: log off the map, log out of Bytro, clear cache and cookies, close all browser tabs, gesticulate reverently to your personal god, log back on. And if THAT doesn't work, try slapping the monitor. (It may not help, but it always makes me feel better.)

So my Level 38 (you'd think he'd know better) TEAM ally (unfortunately there's no coalition for me to leave, to escape from the guy) spends the entire game building only light tanks and towed AT guns... Literally. Not a single aircraft, no AA weapons, no other type of unit at all. On Day 16 he launches an all-out attack on an opponent with a strong airforce. He sends his troops charging at the enemy at the break-neck speed of towed AT (because, of course, he keeps his light tanks forever stacked…

What happened was that Bytro fixed a defect in their AI a couple of weeks ago, so now we're all dealing with a better version of it. We all had it too easy for many months. The "crux of the whole deal" is that you will probably have to expand/advance slower, and keep a unit or two in captured provinces until each next day-change. You'll also want to reposition your capital from time to time, to help with morale all across your empire. And of course, building infrastructure and forts in captured …

Quote from DoctorDR1: “Quote from saaaaaaaaaa: “like the call of war creators make a strenth limit to the units me create ” But then everyone will just make everything maxed out. I don't really see the point of player created units. Also, this is a WWII game with historical units, which is why there are no drone units or swordsmen. They didn't exist in WWII. If you allow players to create units, it will no longer be a history based game. ” Foot swordsmen, no. But cavalry would be cool... Seems t…

Quote from gusv: “Scale showing 5 km would be a good future mod to all maps! ... ” I've been wanting a way to measure distance accurately on the map, like some online (non-game) map sites allow you to do. Some kind of mechanism whereby you click on Point A, then click on Point B, and presto!... the exact distance between the two points is given. But oh!... Wish in one hand and dump in the other, and see which one fills up first, lol.
