Germany will try to route you. So you want a solid defense (AA, arty). Militia & infantry are good to spam and good at defense. Germany will likely attack you on day 2-3 and will probably have light tanks, arty, tac bombers. Good counters for those are the aforementioned. At least that is what I have seen.

Nice. What is your favorite part of that? For me, I don't focus on big stacks. I send swift, pawn level units to score land and small stacks for cities. I am a city hoarder. My groupings vary and are seldom more than 4 units. They vary depending on what the opfor is serving up.
