  • Quote from K.Rokossovski: “1. Not bad, though you still need AA because both RRG and HT suck at it. 2. That's like waiving a flag, "Hey, here's my secret militia stack!" It also makes it a valid target for air and artillery, and damage DOES distribute to the stealth units underneath. 3. If you're using extensive garrisons, you already lost the game. ” It's hard to justify this unit's viability. I'm just here to give some life into this dying fad into something more practical. Also, AA is just an…

  • So I'm sure there's a wide consensus that Heavy tanks are pretty bad units with the game. For the Allies, it's practically unusable beyond garrison. For the Pan-Asian, it's 20% speed is actually a good trade off for 10% health. For the rest, it's made for them by doctrinal buffs. So, when and what do we use these fortresses that can't catch light tanks in enemy territory? 1. Railroad gun escort I haven't seen anyone else argue for HT to escort RR. They're practically made for them. Turtle speed,…

  • Quote from Carking the 6th: “Persia is worse than Poland? Taking India and Afghanistan with them is not too hard if you re smart… it shouldn’t be the lowest tier, at least. Poland should be lowest tier though, to be honest. The thin is there are very few scenarios where the USSR or Germany (especially the latter) don’t just kill them. Your decent starting army wont make up for that. Germany is playable BTW, just have to camp. I’ve played them multiple times before and have a playthrough with the…

  • Quote from Talvisota: “Why tf is Brazil B-tier? Has to be A-toer AT LEAST, I would go as far as A-toer personally ” Let's see... most cities on the coastlines, far away from any of the borders, and having -10% speed. You know, if Brazil had an Axis or Comintern doctrine (Vargas had socialist tendencies), it would be low A and Argentina would be even lower on C.

  • After gathering even more knowledge of the game, I can now assess the strengths and weaknesses of each nation. I'm going to exclude Germany here, as there is realistically improbable you even can get Germany at all since every player would take Germany immediately. Of course, this is presuming your threats are actually actively playing and are of decent quality command, capable of economic expansion and knows how to do doctrines. S-Tier United States Threats - Japan, United Kingdom, Canada, Mexi…

  • Militia, in all of its use but the Allied doctrine, is an effective infiltrator. Yes, even better than paratroopers as you not only require an airbase to launch on (presuming there's not strat bombers at all), but it can only attack on centre provinces or on enemy units directly. As for allied, the faster production speed, -10% speed and massive commando buff makes militia uniquely redundant in the long term.

  • Quote from z00mz00m: “When I see new players with no stats, or players with bad stats (because they don't understand the game), I do one of two things: 1. If they are next to me, eat them as soon as possible, before someone else does. 2. If they are far away, help them out. Tell them what to build, how to look up unit stats, how to use land/sea/air units. I want this community to grow. If someone is generally friendly and communicative, I want them to stay and get better at the game. This will m…

  • Since this is my first time trying to create an unique doctrine, I didn't consider how my suggestions compare to the others. Quote from _Pyth0n_: “Kinda useless, expect maybe to quickly build higher level Industry quicker. -10% Construction Cost isn't going to cut it, I'd want at least -20% to even consider playing such a doctrine. ” Yeah, I lowballed the buffs. I'll say that -15% construction cost and -25% construction time. As for the production time, I'll lower it down to 10% production time …

  • Quote from wojtata2: “If these are your statistics, then I will tell you what I think about you. 1. You are an attractive target to attack. 2. You probably leave the game after a few days. 3. Your attacks consist of sending a stream of units to the enemy. 4. You can't use units properly. ” 5. You probably more interested in HWW and very role play oriented map lobbies. Hence your punctuation on the newspaper. And so, you stop playing most games after 3 days at the latest. 6. You don't know how di…

  • To put it bluntly, British and French doctrine are far too different to eachother and the Americans. Now, there was suggestions to pretty much to revert the buffs of the Pan-Asian doctrine (more hp for slower units). However, the Allied doctrine (which might as well be called American) already has dibs on speed nerf, so I guess I have to make some of my own suggestions. Commonwealth Doctrine (Rearmament) General Strength: Construction cost -10%, construction time -15% This is to reflect Britain'…

  • Quote from Hi3333333333: “After the Soviets gave aid, Germany starting stopping the aid and that was around when the Second Sino-Japanese War first started so in 1939, the chance of China's doctrine becoming Comintern is much more likely than Axis. So if Bytro changes, your hope would probably come true. ” The Germans, under orders from Goring, stopped the shipment of war material to China. When you might ask? April 1938. When did the Soviets began shipping war material? September 1937, and that…

  • Quote from K.Rokossovski: “This post is basically saying that a television is very bad in comparison to a mirror: it is way too expensive, and the reflection is vague and blurry. But when saying that, you have obviously forgotten about the unique ability of the TV. ” This is the worst use of an analogy I've ever seen, and this is from a guy who've seen cringe Youtube videos and Reddit post. First, this is apples to oranges, and/or simply the fallacy of false analogy. A comparison between two rad…

  • Quote from freezy: “There are multiple use cases for Paratroopers. But the key one is to drop behind enemy lines to capure key provinces, such as an industrial city where the enemy is producing units, or a province with an important airstrip (even better if enemy airforce is operating from there). ” Point no. 4 and point no. 5 You will have to rely on the distance of provinces, the terrain of the province, the enemy's distance between the nearest safe productive city (as in unit production) to t…

  • Quote from Jolene16: “looking ate the game, i think it is underrated, only few create videos on YouTube, such as bmfox. we should all promote the game to people who like strategy games, because this would be a change for them and the strategy game community ” Not really when you compare to HOI4, Civilization, Victoria II and even World Conqueror 3+4 All of them, historical worldwide conflict.

  • Quote from BrutusTrump: “This can be land, air, or naval. ” Pretty much every China vs Soviet Union game I had. Mostly AI at that point. If by player, Romania vs Soviet Union after ceasefiring Turkey.

  • Quote from MrMellking: “I've literally gotten into around 5 or 4 dramas in this game. (Yes I'm a beginner). And so many of the people causing the drama keep making fun of my stats. Like, who cares? ” It seemed you cared enough to come over to the forums Quote from MrMellking: “If a person with 2x better stats than you comes, what would you do? ” Depending. If it's like lvl 2 vs lvl 4, then there's absolutely no difference. If it's lvl 60 vs 120, there is a gap in experience, but not necessarily …

  • This is a follow up of this post. Now here is the suggestions on how to actually improve this unit. First of all, make them as fast as Commando's. No exception. And yes, even level 1. Paratroopers are suppose to be light infantry in combat and wouldn't really hold itself against even regular infantry. I suggest a reduction of food cost to a similar amount near a level 4 infantry. Upkeep cost in terms of money should be cut by a quarter. Conversion cost should be removed or reduced to double digi…

  • Paratroopers are perhaps the most useless unit in the game, but I'll try my best to cover its potential. Assessment Paratroopers already at lvl 1 cost more than a lvl 3 Motorized infantry (assuming this isn't the Allies doctrine), being outclassed economically and militarily at everything but stealth and goods cost in comparison. It takes an Infantry to reach lvl 6 to reach Paratrooper's food cost AT LEVEL 1. Again, only goods cost and stealth (It's even a worse comparison if this is the Cominte…

  • I don't know how, but somehow a half-broken barrack can still produce a motorized unit, but after the game's maximum time has passed.
