  • Hidden defense stat?

Alright, I'll agree it is totally plausible for a convoy to defend themselves. My realism argument be damned. I'll condense and simplify my argument into. They should show that damn stat! @TankBuster They actually found that the bigger and faster the bullet, the more it got totally screwed up when it entered the water. Physics is weird like that.

I caught a stack of 45 troops of all sorts of types traveling from Rhodes back to Turkey, I sent 2 subs and thought I was pretty awesome for catching such a huge stack of troops with no naval escort. I was very surprised when my subs engaged them and immediately took about 45% damage, at the same time only killing 1 out of 45 and leaving the rest at 93%. My surprise arises because not a single one of the units that I was fighting showed a stat that could hurt subs. Not only does this not make se…

  • Love what is going on in this thread. I don't think you can claim one thing was responsible for boosted morale, its many factors that effect it both positively and negatively (the negative stuff they've got down well in this game but not the positive things). My point totally stands though. They lost France, a major bummer, They gained US, big sigh of relief to not be fighting on their own. @Azkazan You could easily fix this by adding a diminishing return the more allies you gain. In terms for p…

  • Morale seems to be a pretty big issue, primarily on 100 player maps in my experience. With that many people you end up fighting a lot of different countries and if you have territories over seas you have to devote a huge force to occupying to keep morale up. I am totally cool with the idea of war with multiple countries causing increasing morale penalties. However I feel like this same principle and mechanic should be applied to allied countries. Think about it. Morale was getting very grim in E…

Exactly you'd get 2 flight circles. If you went past the inner circle your plane would have to have a designated runway to land at you just couldn't send them out that far.

Oh okay, so your own territory is another class, got ya. I was thinking your own territories counted as friendly as well. That makes more sense

  • Why does it seem like every unit's info has "strength against armor class" listed in its attributes. Even units that are especially weak against armor like armored cars?

Why do units have a speed on friendly territory of 80%? I understand that in enemy territory they would go slower to be careful, or cause they don't know the land very well or something like that, but why on friendly territory can a unit not reach its max speed?

  • Plane Flight Distances

Anyone ever mention the fact that planes seem to be able to fly to the end of their flight radius and then back, however when they are flying to a new airfield they can only fly half of that distance before refueling? To put it mathematically. A plane flies from an airfield to bomb target city at the very edge of its flight radius. Lets say the flight radius is 500 miles. Your plane has flown there (500 miles) and back (500 more miles a total of 1000 miles) before it needed to refuel. However, i…
