    • It is my Hobby.. I did learn languages ever since I can think. I could have added Latin, Klingon and Romulan as well.. but I left it out since they are not really real languages.

As for your question: I am generally not engaging in political discussions in public forums... It does usually result in discussions and fighting... I am just saying that much: I am open socialist and I am "Chavista". Any further political disucssions or questions, you are free to start a private conversation. :) It is in my opinion a way better place.

    • Well good point.
Maybe more correct would be to say it is not an actively spoken language. The same counts for klingon I suppose, since it is an official language, created by a linguistic doctor and with official representation in the world. Actually I do like latin as well.. but as I said, I tend to forget it in listing and things, because it is barely used or needed.

I do like french as well... :) I had it a year in school and I went to France on some occassions.. I did not list it because it´s more basic... it´s not a language I speak fluently.. If I ever gonna learn French I don´t know. I had my issues learning it at school and it is similar to spanish which makes it even more difficult... besides I think when I terminate my studies in Chinese and Korean I should be fine... Even though Russian and Arabian is tempting too.... :D Well we will see.

    • Technically Latin is considered a "dead" language its not really spoken as a national language anymore for ex. France-French, Spain-Spanish, Italy-Italian.....etc Usually the only reason people learn Latin if they are becoming a Doctor or a Scientist.
If the king doesn't move, then his subjects won’t follow.

Lots in English law as well. And English law serves as the basis for the legal system in most former colonies (if not all). So latin is part of legalese nearly all around the world.
At least britsh followed a normal way and used it in colonies, I don't know why they didnt adopted the metric system and the french way (right hand)...
