I am breaking rules here but I wanted to add my comment about Tac Bombers... although it has been discussed so many times again.
* There are no weather conditions preventing air support
* There is no night giving cover to units
* Attacked units dont get any bonus from terrain. For example hitting infantry in forest is harder than in plains.
* There is no logistics system so you dont have to worry about repair, fuel or ammo supply
Btw some of these exist when using artillery... i.e. infantry cant dug in to save damage. And after all, tac bombers are no different to artillery. It is just more mobile.
And if Tac Bomber strength was reduced people would use more artillery and people complain again... i.e. it would just change the problem not fix it.
Just my 2 cents.
Please no flames (speaking of flames... where are engineers with flame throwers?)
Reason why Tac Bombers are so powerful in CoW is that they dont have weaknesses they had in WW 2.It's right that tactical bombers have historically a easy job, if they attack support lines and tanks on clear ground, but if I have a look back to Stalingrad or the Ardennen they didn't got it, to wipe out the enemy infantry.
