We need, at the very least, a British Unit skins
Yes, we need a complete set of British unit skins so British troops are not using American skins, the New Zealanders are not using German skins, and several of the Indian sub-countries are not using Japanese skins. Then we could fully differentiate a complete set of American skins, so they do not include a German battleship, a British carrier plane that never fought in WW2, and a British heavy tank. The British, Empire and Commonwealth countries collectively fielded the fourth largest number of troops (16.6 million) of any World War II combatant (following the Soviets, Germans, Americans), and they all shared very similar battle dress and a common set of mostly British-designed equipment, armor, aircraft and ships.

FYI, after 1943, Free French ground forces mostly used British and American battle dress and equipment.

Agreed. Egypt using the German skin doesn't make much sense either. Seems logical that the British skin should of been the first ever, but either way we need it.

@Not A Communist, my list was intended to be recognizable examples, and not all-inclusive. Other particularly egregious examples are the Filipinos and Ukrainians using German skins. Ironically (perhaps doubly so), several Chinese sub-countries use Japanese skins when the Chinese Nationalists started the war wearing the stahlhelm and carrying German-designed weapons.
    • True, but Nationalist China does use German skins. Don't forget there were many Japanese puppet states and communist supplied warlords and cliques in China as well as the Nationalists. In fact, it doesnt even make sense Taiwan uses the Nationalist flag: the skin is more correct than the flag for them since japan had owned Taiwan for years already come ww2

In addition, the 100 player map Ukrainians do use soviet skins. In addition, once Germany invaded Ukraine, many people there fought for the Germans since they hated the Communists, hence the german uniforms (if this really is COW 1943, at which point the Germans did own Ukraine)

I'm not saying all of Bytros skin choices make sense, but some of them do
    • i would rather like that the existing skins (Germans, Americans, Soviets and Japanese/Chinese) tanks/planes/tank destroyers/SP AA get a little feature, where different unit levels would have different skins. For example, the soviet heavy tank should look like a KV2 at level 1/IS-2 at level 2/IS-3 at level 3, this feature already exists in Conflict of Nations, so why shouldn't it exist in Call of war Too?

Conflict of Nations has the feature already, and it is smaller than COW, so why does not COW have that feature?
      cuz CoN is new

"being new" does not mean that they have a privilege of making stuff like different unit skins, CON was filled with bugs, and still is, but that did not stop the creators for making great unit skins, Bytro should do it too, because why not?

well, in case you didn't realize, when bytro has a great idea and suppose big changes, they make a new, they don't usually update the one they already have

that is still not an excuse to not add unit skins...

    • Perhaps something like this needs to be thought of as a long term incremental project. Update one nation or branch of research and implement, than move on to the next. Sometimes corporations think we have to do it all at once and it becomes a daunting task when there are other higher priority items.

    • I personally don't care for unit skins, but if anybody does care you should probably help by showing suggestions. Even if they are just your rough draft ideas. The game developers have better, more important issues that they know how to fix, problems like these are more of a lack of ideas. There are only so many ideas a person may have, it is up to the community in the forums to give the developers the ideas that need to be implemented. We as a community of players are here to help the developers improve the game, and details that don't improve game-play are not the focus of interest for the developers. But these details are a good idea to add if the developers don't know what to implement next. But the developers need you to help them with these decoration ideas. So if you have an idea like this, give some pictures as examples to make their job easier.

just because they got "more important issues", doesn't mean that they shouldn't give us "cosmetic" stuff as well, look at CON, the unit skins are changing, based on level, COW could use that feature too.....

well, we can hope that the developers finally kill those endless bugs, and add the skins in a near future

You're right, but they don't work on the cosmetic stuff probably because that is not their specialty, most developers don't focus on art. If you want them to give you cosmetic stuff, you need to give them some ideas, they either don't have any good ideas for skins or are working on something much bigger. If you want this cosmetic stuff so much, you need to give them some ideas.
