      Might have been posted before but it would be great for nuclear subs to be able to carry and launch nuke's. Would add a whole new element to countries that become nuclear powers. 2/3 of the 'triad are already in the game with bombers and rockets, why not add the third in subs?

      @TJ, because this is a game based on World War II technology, but with an expanded horizon through about 1954. The first class of ICBM-carrying submarines, the U.S. Navy's George Washington class, were not deployed until July 1960. In short, SSBNs are outside the window of WW2 tech and its immediate follow-on.

About the only thing would be with nuclear carriers carrying rockets(there WAS a test launch of a V2 off a US carrier in 1945, along with one of the Midway class carrying nuclear weapons, etcetera.), but I'm pretty sure it was stated many times before that having a carrier with rockets, much less nuclear, would be a bit OP.

    • That would make them really OP unfortunately. I can't fathom the amounts of salt just getting randomly littered with nuclear missiles from the shore would be. Also that would make subs suddenly really good against all kinds of units really, when they are supposed to be used as hunters for weak prey (convoys/bigger ships) of for scouting.
