    • Bigger Bonus After Capitol Is Occupied

If a player occupies a countries capitol, and holds it for 5 full days, all land surrounding the capitol will surrender.

      For Example:
If Germany occupies Paris and holds it, Germany will receive all of the French mainland because it all touches. The Rest of France will still be occupied by France. If France owned Spain at the time, perhaps the penalty will only go as far as the border of the original country which the capitol is in. And Germany will not receive Spain. Also in all acquired cities gained after the surrender, Germany will receive an infantry unit there.

This will promote more awareness of capitols and also make the game much more strategic and realistic.
    • I think capitals are quite important enough as it is.
When the fake daddies are curtailed, we have failed. When their roller coaster tolerance is obliterated, their education funds are taken by Kazakhstani phishers, and their candy bars distributed between the Botswana youth gangs, we have succeeded.
      - BIG DADDY.
    • Then they will just build a new capital. Besides, in WWII the French did not lose all their cities when the Germans captured Paris. I think there just should be the option to surrender as some players just quit.

    • Then we all start making a bee-line toward Capitals, as our primary objective, and reap the reward of gaining the other territories without having to fight for them.

Soon, a Player's Guide to "The Easiest Capitals To Capture" is published on the Forums.

The British think it's a good idea because that means they defeated the U.S., during the War of 1812, when they entered Washington and burned down the White House.
    • That didn't even effect the war as something more than a lost battle. A capital just is where the government meets. They government can move to a different place.
