    • Oh no! Kommandos!
Great to see that Bytro keeps making adjustments. The railroad guns till seem like they could use a boost in their infantry and armor damage. Has there been any thought to giving them better anti-air capabilities?

I suspect that the Kommando unit won't get as much use since it still doesn't scale into the late game. F118 had proposed a 'stealth' function where they would behave essentially like subs unless they attack or are revealed by planes. Also, with the decrease in AA capability they have lost one of their main attractions, to me at least. Unlike AA guns and SPAA, the Kommandos were a good choice as they were a triple threat, being able to battle infantry, armor and air. While they may get some use early on still, I suspect that unless one is battling through the mountains they will be phased out from my builds as the infantry are eventually stronger than them.

(perhaps, and this is based on wikipedia information, the Kommandos could develop into 'woodcutting kommandos and kitchen kommandos! ;p )
    • everything seems fine, but the commandos got a Nerf than a Buff, increase in manpower cost and upkeep does not mitigate the AA value drop. will the commandos be able to bounce back in a future update? perhaps the "stealth" ability that was suggested?

    • poor translation below.

For english readers, I complained abot inserting critical rule changes like unit values and research costs into running game-rounds. This will result in dramatical changes in some games in terms of power as unit and research strategies relie on outdatet consideration.
Thats all even without compensation (as example, someone who already obtained a now cheaper or shorter research could have be compensated by script but however suffers a loss of an advantage in timeline because he made that investment in an earlier game state and used up funds that other had for other effords.

Also the commando unit should have an better air-defense because they got trained in better tactics to avoid or countermeasure damage from such attacks (as deeply dig in). because they gou no special defense value (section) in the air units it had been ok to have a stronger defense (counterattack) value to take that into account. Althoug the wound have special AA weapons that time. An other aprroach would be to count an airstrike against commando unit with the vehicle attack value of that airunit. Thus the commando would not inflict more damage on that air unite but manage to survie longer with reflects a more realistic behaviour.

      ;)

I apolligize for my poor english.

1: Perhaps the changes need to be done across every round to avoid having bugs introduced?

2: It is an interesting suggestion to give the commando a different defense against planes to increase their survivability but they are still less attractive than infantry now and for myself, less likely to be built.
