A few questions about game mechanics...

What does each spy do in detail? I know most of the things they do, but what do each of them have the power to do specifically?

Does the game generate market trades or are all trades from other people?

Can people trade more than 4 provinces if they trade other provinces for it? Like, can people trade as many provinces for provinces that they want?

Are inactive players replaced with elite AI?

      Thanks!
    • If you study the "gold spy" buttons it tells what kind of regular spy is typically responsible for those actions, or you can click the "i" buttons in the espionage menu as I found out later.

A bit about each type of spy:

A bit about the specific spy actions, and the class of spy responsible.

You will see there are two possible actions for each type of spy. So naturally a spy can choose to perform duty A, or Duty B, or Nothing of course. A recent tip by WiseOdin was that the effects of gold spying such as damaged buildings will be reported in the newspaper the same way regular spies would.

All resources in the game come from within that game, none are interjected automatically by the system. Trades on the market primarily come from AI players, and mostly the minor AI's who have one province that produces one resource, but have to trade for other things to take care of their country. So once the minor AI's are annexed the available offers on the market drop somewhat. Optimistic players put up buy and sell offers on the market in hopes another player will fill them, but sometimes there is a global shortage of those items so nobody sells.

I believe you can trade province for province daily with no limts.

Inactives are replaced by AI. If the game has normal AI then that is what will be used. A game with Elite AI will use those setting to replace inactives.
