Has this idea been discussed before?
Cargo planes were used during the war, and it would seem like a great addition.
I am sure there would have to caveats to the idea. Maybe this falls in line with paratroopers (no, this isn't another paratrooper thread) so maybe there is a way to work them both in.
I mean they did come into their own more so during the post-war efforts, but there were still cargo planes in the war.
Of course they were used more for troop movement and supplies rather than motorized units.
That said you can build a tactical nuclear bomber in 24 days on the map, so we have already suspended our belief some.
So why not have cargo planes?
If you're a land locked country this makes perfect sense in an effort to move troops within your boundaries along with motorized units.
I am sure someone can (or has already) come up with the logistics side of this rule wise.
