After the First World War, instead of establishing the LoN, the Nations of Europe established the Europa League (EL). Despite the League initially being a trade alliance, it quickly mutated into taking away the sovereignty of nations of Europe, and dividing Europe into 7 Sectors, determined by Culture.The EL quickly became unpopular, allowing Britain to quickly leave, but the remaining nations quickly had the exit blocked, as the leaders of the EL made it illegal to leave. Now, all nationalistic, independence rebellions are crushed, as Europe is ruled by a group of un-elected officials, whilst the world surrounding falls into carnage without a sole superpower.
To halt any Nationalistic Uprisings against the Globalist powerhouse of the EL, we fall into where the George Orwell's 1984 comes into place. People had their civil rights stripped, as they were forced into line, to abandon their cultural heritage and any ties to their nation. Soon it became illegal to fly your flag, with the Punishment being execution... or Re-education...
Around the world, with Europe falling into a Political catastrophe, a vacancy opened up to be the world power, which was quickly filled by Japan, Britain and the USSR leaving us in a three way cold war, with America on the sideline, due to the Great Depression which is in full spin
The Year is 1930
At the Beginning of the Game, the Elector of the League (Leader of the League) will be elected. He will then embark upon completing these tasks to change the League from a band of nations into a superunion.
As the Elector of the Europa League, you can call for a referendum for the following policies:
1. Cripple Sectors - The Elector of the Europa League will annex two resource-producing provinces from each Sector: 'We must make sure that the Sectors of the Europa League will not rise up against our glorious leadership' ((10 POLITICAL POWER))
2. Begin Monitoring - Police will now begin random raids into houses in the Europa League: 'Nationalist Seperatist groups are constantly trying to try to seperate their nation from our great Union! We must crush these with empowering our Police state and allowing them to survey and watch people at all times' ((20 POLITICAL POWER))
3. Fund the Great Wall - The Eastern European Ramparts's 'Great Wall' with the border of the USSR will now be able to be fortified more intensely, as all Sectors of the Europa League will have to pay £10,000 every day to help fund the wall. 'We must protect from the USSR with funding the Great Wall that separates our fair union from the vicious Russians' ((30 POLITICAL POWER))
4. Progressive Enactment Part I. - All European Sectors that own a non-African Colony are to give their Colony away to a nation in the region. I.E. French Indochina goes to China. ((40 POLITICAL POWER))5. Manifest Unity - All Democratic Elements to the Europa League will be cancelled. The Elector will rule indefinitely. ((50 POLITICAL POWER))
6. Progressive Enactment Part II. - All European Sectors that own an African Colony are to give their Colony to us. 'The Africans are treated inhumanely! It is our time to rule Africa, Fairly' ((60 POLITICAL POWER))
7. A United Army - All European Sectors are to mobilise a Division of Forces to be handed over to us every day. For a United Union ((70 POLITICAL POWER))
8. Taxation - All European Sectors are to pay £10,000 to us every day! ((80 POLITICAL POWER))
9. Manifest Progression - The Elector can now call the Sectors to invade any country the Elector desires ((90 POLITICAL POWER)).
Political Power
Political Power (PP) is a key part of this Project. It's what the elector has to save up, to be able to make the enactments.
POLITICAL POWER RULESPolitical Power determines the political movements the Elector of the European League can make.
Every IRL day, the Elector will gain 2 Political Power Points. He can spend his Points by starting a referendum for the Europa League enactments. (i.e. 'Cripple Sectors' enactment costs 10 Political Power, so he must wait 5 days before this enactment)
Sectors of the Europa League can try to delay the Electors Political Power, by doing the following:
Nationalist Uprising - The Sector will RP a Nationalist Uprising. This will cost the Elector 5 Political Points. This can only be done every 5 years by each Sector
Push to leave the League - The Sector will try to aggressively push to leave the League. This will cost the elector 10 points. Cooldown = 7 Years
War! - The Sector will declare war on the Elector to leave the League. This will cost the Elector 10 Points. If the Sector Wins, it will have freedom, if it loses it will have a cooldown of ten years.
