was just thinking how nice it would be if there was somewhere you could look and see what troops you have in the field. This would be very helpful in being able to determine what you needed to produce and what you had deployed.

I think this is just looking at your troops. Also what constitutes the "field" in this game? Since there are no set frontlines, only province centers and roads.
