So I've noticed that when a member of another coalition and I are at war, we cannot have peace as long as we have an ongoing battle. Troop movement while in a battle is locked, as it has always been, but I've noticed that in a (relatively) recent update, the option to offer right of way or share map to a member of another coalition has been taken away. This makes it impossible to disengage with an enemy and retreat long enough to hash out a peace treaty. What I'm thinking is maybe there should be a diplomatic option to allow safe passage back to controlled territory, instead of a huge waste of troops in battle when an agreement has been reached. Another option might be a "Disengage" button on the troops themselves. Let me know what you think.
you can find cease fire in the diplomacy, use that to stop the battle and to march back to your own provinces.
I tried doing that, but the countdown above the troops kept going, and they weren't moving at all...
I never tried the cease fire before so if that doen't help I guess you'll stay locked in battle.
Given the current rules one of you will have to leave your coalition temporarily in order to give the temporary right of way to end the battle, or you can continue the battle.War is a game that is played with a smile. If you can't smile, grin. If you can't grin keep out of the way til you can. - Winston Churchill
