I was wondering if targeting a province with a stack near it damage the stack if I hit it with a nuclear bomber? The stack is within 50km of the target zone (I think) so does it take full damage? or does the damage decrease if you're not in the impact zone, but within 50km of it.
Do Nuclear bombers fully damage everything within 50km or does the damage decrease the further you are from the explosion

I'm not an expert in nuclear warfare but the programming is the same like the patrol circle of planes. Every unit within the radius gets attacked. The damage will be shared over all troops that are in the radius. The more troops in this area the lesser damage they will take.BMfox

This game is very simple in basically every domain of it, so i guess that it would be the same in the whole radius of 50km.

Everything inside 50km, the nuke will damage. The damage will be spread across all buildings and troops inside that radius evenly.General Nightman

I have tried nukes and let me explain you this. Nukes DO NOT HAVE A GARRANTEED 50KM RADIUS, They have a radius around anywhere from 10km to 50km so to be safe. Hit 2km away from the target

I assure you, nukes have 50km blast radius.
Dont you think the guy that wrote the guide, and the head moderator I got it from, would know?General Nightman

Also with the combat calculations naturally the strength of the atomic blast might be “used up” by other units and buildings in the blast radius leaving less for the units and buildings you intend to target with the blast.
2 km is too close as you are within the 5 km close combat range, and the air defenses will return fire against the incoming atomic bomber. 6 km at a minimum distance from stacks with sufficient air defenses is necessary.War is a game that is played with a smile.
