    • Wow... Southern Army Group is being severely mistreated.

      Not a single road/infra with a factory.
      No troops worth mentioning.

If I remember correctly though, Axis forces put up a tremendous fight in Italy. Even having Tigers at their disposal.
In this set-up, everything, except 9 light motorized vehicles (2 AC, 4 LT and 3 mot-Inf regiments), is slow moving over large distances.

Even if it should be more or less correct that the Yugoslavian part of the front wasn't that well equipped, in Northern Italy this surely was not the case.
And that northern Italy has no ready industrial infrastructure (roads with factories) is very much incorrect IMO. Northern Italy has always harbored the industrial heart of Italy, producing vehicles, air planes and surely artillery.

In short, the player being dealt Southern Army Group of the Axis has hardly a game to play.

I may manage the situation still, but any average player will probably just quit, seeing the deplorable state of his country.

Edit 15-6/ending day 9/starting day 10 of the game: we won, with South ending 2nd. with 2nd economy and in possession of a reasonably mechanized army by then.
It would be interesting to know how many Axis won, how many Army Group South players survived and possibly won.
