I will like to play in this but I have no team. I will like to team up with some players that will commit to evey month and will work together to try and win?

Game 1 & 2 have been filled already, though a space may open up in Game 2. You will be notified of a spot open in a team if there is one.
Likely there will not be, but if possible we'll try to get you in."Flesh grows weak. Steel becomes brittle. But the will is indomitable." - the RIDDLE OF STEEL -
Hi Everyone,
AE2 team has voted and decided to withdraw from the event. We protest against changing written rules without Council of Leaders consent.
There was a matter presented to Players Council regarding a team disqualification.
The team in question won the vote 5/8.
The rule book states on page 15.
For an appeal to be UPHELD there must be a TWO THIRDS MAJORITY vote by the Council of Leaders (CoL). [...] For your reference, these are the voting requirements per number of teams in a match:
8 Teams - 5 out of 8 votes
Bytro has claimed there was a typo in the rule book and without players consent changed the rule to 6/8 and disqualified a team.
We find these actions disrespectful to all players, deliberately aiming to uphold mods disqualification decision despite majority of CoL voting to overrule mods decision.
Mods cannot be a judge in their own case. At minimum they should put their 'typographical error' interpretation to a test for all Leaders to vote. This is a players event, they are customers here and they should be treated respectfully and have a say.
Good luck with the game everyone!
Hope to meet you on the battlefield some other time. -

There was no changing of the rules. You just didn't bother to read them. The rules were followed to the exact letter.
The same rules you and everyone else agreed to, BTW.
Your withdrawal is accepted with immediate impact."Flesh grows weak. Steel becomes brittle. But the will is indomitable." - the RIDDLE OF STEEL -
My friend i guess u didnt read them either , check the rules again for 8 teams u need 5 votes its in ur rulebook
-
I have read them quite extensively since I was the one who actually wrote them.
Mark I would direct you to please read Page 14, specifically the last sentence of the paragraph for "Disqualifications":
TTL Rulebook: wrote:
The Council MUST UPHOLD a disqualification under any circumstances CLEARLY stipulated in the league
rules that warrant such action.
There should never have been any votes to uphold your appeal. The rules are quite clear that the ONLY consequence for the attempted NAP was disqualification:
TTL Rulebook wrote:
Reported attempt at NAP
Penalty: Immediate disqualification, temporary or permanent league bans possible for repeated violations
The only reason to have an automatic appeals process was to benefit the players.. this certainly hasn't made my life any easier as your MOD. We felt it was important that any actions, especially disqualifications, were done in a transparent and open manner so the players understood what was happening.
Disqualifying your team was a very hard thing for me to do personally as I really enjoy playing against you Mark. But in this case my hands were tied.. I had to return a consequence of disqualification, it had to be done in the open so no cries of "cheating" or "unfair" could be said for a process hidden from the view of the players.
Again, not what I wanted to do but my responsibility to the players who agreed to be bound by the same rules was clear. Making an exception to this rule for you was also not an option, regardless if we are friends or not."Flesh grows weak. Steel becomes brittle. But the will is indomitable." - the RIDDLE OF STEEL -
Ok none will convice the other entirely , lets all end this and act as grown ups, whats done is done, sorry for any inconvenience and good luck with ur event

Peace be with you Mark"Flesh grows weak. Steel becomes brittle. But the will is indomitable." - the RIDDLE OF STEEL
