Assume that spies intercepted the message before it was delivered to you and made a copy, and then some of these messages that they copied will be given to their employer.

    • No, BarkingHand.

It's not that the spy is stealing the message from the sender or stealing the message from the receiver, but is stealing the message while it is en route from the sender to the receiver.

Since it happens this way, it doesn't matter when the message gets deleted.

    • The spies intercept the messages at the time they are sent.

Spies do not hand over their reports until day change when you pay them. No pay, no report. Spies may have issues trusting other people. ;)

    • There are ways to send messages that people can intercept but they can not get all intel. Yuo can use some programs out of COW, you can use alliance chat or you can send message in parts and if someone intercepts he can not read whole message and he can not get a full clue of it. For example>
      I will
      attack
      North
      India
      in few
      days
Recipient can see all 6 of them and if some of them are intercepted, one who intercepted them will not have a clue what are you talking about.
"Then, when you run out of ammunition and the enemy continues to advance - to the bayonet, when they break your knife - to your hands, when they break both of your hands - to your teeth, when you get the last tooth knocked out, as long as you move, as long you are there - attack! When they mortally wound you, see to it that you fall in their way, so they have to go around you, jump over you or move you - bother them even in death!" speech of lieutenant Tasic before battle of Cer 1914.
