    • Suppressive Fire - Artillery

When the shells are falling.. no one wants to poke their head out to take a look....

Artillery firing at target should cause Suppressive Fire and affect the speed with which targets ducking for cover are able to move/advance.

      Proposal
When "Infantry Class" units are "Under Fire" (Ie, firing artillery is stationary and continually firing, as opposed to fire, move for 59 minutes, stop and fire, then continue moving)

This would only penalize exposed infantry by slowing them down 50%

There are already movement modifiers such as terrain and forced march...

This would expose units to have to endure such barrages for longer periods of time, delaying arrival at destination and taking more damage... while defender has more time to execute defences.

Note - I specifically did not want to include Tac-Bombers in this since their actions were not sustained over periods of time.

    • Wouldn't this make artillery a little bit OP? In addition to dealing damage on an hourly basis, it slows units down 50%? This would increase the amount of damage it deals to any units headed towards them by 1.5x times, 50% is a little too much. Perhaps, this can be a fire option. If said artillery is on "Suppressive-fire" mode, it would slow down units 50%, but would deal half its usual damage (quicker but less accurate shelling).
