When i first joined call of war, i found trading units to be helpful because it was a way to get units consuming too much oil off your shoulders while helping someone else inprove their army. I think they retain their original level until you research a higher one then they upgrade to that level. But why was it removed?
Why was trading units assumed to be unrealistic in call of war?

Unit trading was deleted because of abuse. Evidently, a large number of
players would recruit HUGE armies, then trade their 10% allotment
every day to one of their buddies.
Hard to believe there were that many players using that abuse? -
Wow, i never knew such happened. But the trading was between players right? if so how was it possible to get a huge army if lets say it was the first 5 days of a game? I didn't use it too long so i'm not too familiar with it.

There was another exploit to circumvent plane refueling by trading them back and forth.

Negatory, there was a 10% per day limit! -

Well. Trading units u will have to retrain and it would be a complicated mechanism. Meanwhile trading guns also has sorta the same thing. Reinforcements aka supply drops would have the same thug as well if they have guns. But they do not

I think they need to bring it back because you can’t support your allies/neutral people fighting someone that could be a future threat without being drawn into a war you don’t want to get in to. It limits people from staying nuetral as possible if they don’t want to be in a direct war.

Seems like a mess.
Perhaps they can bring it back in a very limited manner, if at all, like for certain historical situations ... Lend-Lease for instance. We're always looking for top players to play together and learn from. Apply to Tokugawa Bakufu ( alliance code : KIOTO ) if you are a like-minded individual and wish to improve your game.
Whenever feasible, one should always try to eat the rude.

The planes didn't teleport but the refueling timer reset after each trade so there was no cooldown on attacks.
