You've done it. You've put in months of tedious stratagems, bamboozled your foes, crossed the threshold of victory points and then.... game over. Nothing. Just a little bubble saying congratulations or something. Am I the only one who finds this anti-climactic and more than a little disappointing? I loved the end of Age of Empires, with diagnostics and graphs recounting the story of the game. Games could have different prizes players can win that stick to their user stats: Best team-player, Best defender, Opportunist, MVP, Economic powerhouse, etcetera. That would tell you a lot about a player as you size up allies in the future, also.
There are many possible ways to do this, but personally, I just wish there were a way to savor the victory a little more - or at least savor your place in the grand scheme of things.
