Félicitations. :b
I would find it interesting to hear how it all went down.I only smile when it's dark. -
I am trying to do the small country challenge on historic maps, it is so tough though. No one really wants to ally with you and you are an easy target.

what if this is the world in 3021
When the fake daddies are curtailed, we have failed. When their roller coaster tolerance is obliterated, their education funds are taken by Kazakhstani phishers, and their candy bars distributed between the Botswana youth gangs, we have succeeded.

Tbh, I think the so-called "good" countries aren't all that good (I mean South Africa, for example). They for sure are advantageous, but the margin by which they win suggests there's more behind it.
I believe that since those countries are pretty good, pro's learn to pick them if possible. So, those good countries end up controlled by a pro player on top of that and tend to win.
Only the players that are good and patient enough to get to late game multiple times in WaW will notice this imbalance, and this is the kind of players who tend to be pro. So in the end, the players most likely to realize this imbalance and play those good countries are also those who are pro, so it just creates a tradition of eg. South Africa being successful because pro-controlled.
Edit: Rokossovski is true regarding HWW, but I think solo win with South Africa in WaW is challenging enough and gives you better records of your achievement (World Ruler etc) than just a good game with a bad WaW country."In CoW, don't stamp on things before looking. Rakes are everywhere!"
"Don't underestimate noobs; if they don't know what they're doing, how can you?"

I think the pro players tend to pick challenges, i.e. SMALLER/harder countries. It is no fun to conquer the world with Germany, especially with current sleeper rates... but Netherlands and Tibet can make it fun to play even then. When the fake daddies are curtailed, we have failed. When their roller coaster tolerance is obliterated, their education funds are taken by Kazakhstani phishers, and their candy bars distributed between the Botswana youth gangs, we have succeeded.

Yeah, invading Venezuela as USA is boring. Being Venezuela, fighting back, and winning? That is a different story.WHOS GONNA CARRY THE BOATS?
