It depends on the map. I like the 1939 Historic World War in normal (although I haven't played it in 1.5 because it doesn't exist yet), but I like the 22 player map in 1.5.DoctorDR1

I suck at COW
idk what else to put here -
I love normal! ...

I hate 1-5 because they made leveling much slower because the barracks level one now take 30 mins, not 1.5 mins. REEEEEE
-
I like normal too! I hate how they made the speed round a 1.5 event :(, they should make another normal speed round after that!

I like the normal version over the 1.5 version. The version we have now has a few stuff i miss from the last update i miss but i can deal with. One being trading troops which i miss but i understand and making games without high command i didn't mind since i was joining new maps instead of making a map myself. With the 1.5 update i'm scared that call of war will be like conflict of nations instead of being call of war. I'm aware these 2 games are made by bytro but they should stay the same of what made them different. I don't understand why some players want call of war to be like conflict of nations instead of playing conflict of nations. I like call of war the way it is because it's not conflict of nations.

So each version honestly has pros and cons I understand what they are trying to do with the game since ive been playing since 2016 but just gotta adapt they are just changing the metaThe greatest weakness to a leader is his himself

1.5 for casual, 1.0 for serious matches.

1.0, probably because I started playing with it, but 1.5 may be favored if we could build units in rural provinces.

It doesnt seem like it changed too much, without closer inspection. Im also very biased with the original release all these years ago, so I won't complain.

1.5 is way better!
-
I like certain things from each both I prefer the way 1.0 is played.
But yeah I think I am starting to lean towards 1.5 because 1.0 games are almost non-existantNaytemer -
I’m an original 1.0 player but I’m trying to adjust to 1.5.

I like 1.5 because you can create massive armies, but with the normal mode, it takes 45594 years

Wheras in 1.0 the units take a couple hours which is good for people like me who don't have enough time to log in constantly sometimes.
Otherwise I like both versions, but 1.0 is better in my opinion.
(also PLEASE fix the rebellions in 1.5, they are way more OP than in 1.0)- Cardinal S -

Both have their advantages. In normal Call of War it is extremely easy to start having a shortage in materials. Also, it prevents gold users from exploiting the game. For example, a gold user can easily get rare materials to build industrial complexes in normal call of war. While, you could only produce units in cities in 1.5. Also, they patched up the broken 1939 historical map. Countries like France, Italy, Germany, and UK all have a resource shortage of some sort. Especially, France which literally has a massive shortage in both food and oil.I actually like the quick production speed because it allows u to a least be able to compete with some gold users. The major disadvantage of Call of War original is that the pace is a little bit too quick. Also, I dislike how they rebalanced light tanks and how they created the new light armor class. Also the upgrade system is extremely annoying.
