they created 100+ world at war games 6 to 7 days ago. (I started 1 as Romania and I’m still the only active player in the game. Pretty boring...but already have 300 points!) I think there was a system malfunction or something at that time.

But you can’t create world at war games...
-
Or maybe some CoW staff or someone decided to create a bunch.

possible...but I don’t think so. I mean...it would take a few hours to do that. Who would waste their time?

There was a hiccup in the game creation system about that time, and the creation of games was repeated.
If I compare it to a broken record that repeats the same segment over and over does anyone remember how vinyls worked way back when? You know, those round things that music came on.War is a game that is played with a smile. If you can't smile, grin. If you can't grin keep out of the way til you can. - Winston Churchill

The way 'vinyls worked' in the old days. Either 45s or 33s/ They were RECORDS, everything else are tapes, CD's and digital... feeling very old about now...

Uh...what does that have anything to do with this?

Having to explain the joke takes most of the fun out of it but here we go:
a broken record would have a repeating loop if the pathway got damaged so the needle would take the same path again and again instead of continuing the song.
This is an analogy because the game creation system got stuck in a loop one night and created new games repeatedly instead of waiting for them to get full. This means there were a great number of games that were available but not full.
Now after the game creation system was fixed it naturally looks for scheduled maps to be available, and if there are not any available to join a new one is created. As there have been some of the 100 player maps with openings to join since that date the system has not triggered a new one to be created. Once these games become too late to join (or full) the map creation system will take this into account and create a new map of that size.War is a game that is played with a smile.
