    • FIX THE *** REBELIONS IN 1.5

      Seriously,
I have territories rebeling to nations, that I never fought? Or to some allies, that fought the war with me, complete non-sense.

Conquered Africa vs 4 man coalition, then my lands "rebel" to some random nations, which I never fought (Lybia, Spain?), and I have to declare war to them as well, just to clear my lands?
Some other lands keep switchin all game, between me and my ally - Siberia, randomly, with no reason whatsoever, the guy thinks im sendin spies to him to change them or so, even tho we allies. Can you please fix this stuff, I see you made a new patch, but this is not touched, why is that?

Is your intention to keep rebelions as they are in 1.5? Cos thats the most annoying stuff ive seen in a strategy game for a while, I generally dislike Rebelion mechanics, but this is pure non-sense that makes the game so tedious for big players, every day on day change Im afraid to look the map again, cos it will look ugly as fk.

Infrastrucutre gives some morale, ok, but costs so much and has only 3 lvls, so u cant even get to 100 % if u max it, fix that too (give it 5 lvls).

      See ya
    • The current rebellion mechanics have nothing to do with CoW1.5, they are the same in CoW1.0.

We will make some further tweaks to rebellions in one of the next game updates to make them a bit easier to manage, but they will still play an important part in the game that you have to deal with.
    • The recent fix/buff of AI game-play and increased difficulty in suppressing revolts have been GOOD for CoW.

I do NOT find the improved AI or the increased chance for revolts to be unreasonable; rather, I find them to be useful incentives to better planning on the part of players.

I hope that this tenacious, petulant AI continue in future iterations of the game. Seriously, please don't nerf it.

CoW is a STRATEGY game... Players should be required to make reasonable decisions to get ahead, not just run around the map like arcade-style monkeys, unworried about the consequences.

I myself am having a better game experience now with the improved AI. Let the cry-babies cry.
But words are things, and a small drop of ink,
Falling like dew, upon a thought, produces
That which makes thousands, perhaps millions, think.

    • Freezy is a poor game designer that thinks the random rebellions is a good thing and that planning ahead will offset the -39 distance to the capitol that is so often the cause of this problem is possible to offset. My experience is that playing a global game as Argentina the -39 penalty of my army taking over the resource rich Congo caused me to have to park over 50 units in the Congo for over 30 days to keep provinces from rebelling. All the while Africa saw random rebellions all around me, random Euro countries pop up owning a province that they never owned.

So if you think parking units is fun game play perhaps you should change the name of the game from
      "Call of War"
      to
      "Call of Parking Lots"
So much fun and excitement I just can not handle.
It is more manageable on the Europe or American maps, but global it is just out of control bad game design. When are the arrogant designers going to try a global game or 2 where they make a better design for the uncontrolled riots?

Calm down just station a few units in important provinces and if another province rebels just go capture it with your nearest troops.
    • I like the AI buffs too, altho they seem to stack more than 20 units often in late game, which is not efficient n should be reduced to 10 max or so.

The rebellions however, are pretty tedious, n seem rather random too - an allied guy of my co, gets some terriories in some guy im fightin, whats the reasoning behind that? Or some guy I never fought, gettin my captured territories from another guy rebelin to his side. Then he has some territories in my base lets say, without doing nothin, not even declarin war to me. Thats hilarious

Other than that, pretty nice work on 1.5, some things to be tweaked (check my suggestions in the other thread if interested) n lookin good, lookin good.
    • What a Joke.

I station 4 units in each of 8 Captured provinces. 6 of those provinces rebel to my enemy's they now have more units than me and I built the dame things.

The game is not worth playing in this state. Its not a war game anymore with tactics and strategy its a gambling casino when ever day change comes around.

The rebellions don't even reflect history? So lets make space alien units as well lets make up some other rubbish like the Kraken can 50% chance sink a fleet at sea. That's just as real as this rebellion trash. Rebellion is fin and damages units. Provinces changing hands is rubbish.

Its gone from a war game to a game that punishes a player that goes to war and rewards the guy that just sits and does nothing. The guy sitting doing nothing will own the map via rebellions falling to him. Its a piece game now.

YOU SHOULD BE PAYING US TO PLAY IT.

Planning ahead is useful. I always make sure to capture a capital just before every day change; I never have problems with rebellions.

Just how many time would it be that one should "just go capture the rebel province" again and again and again - that India photo I posted was 4 times, over 4 separate days with no end in sight. There was no solution since there was one India province surrounded by yet another AI country and that would start the same thing over again. Let us get on to attacking living players rather than the unintelligent AI units.

They have changed it so there is less chance of rebellions, but I think its only for new games.

Mate, you have some big ass balls to talk shit about the people that work hard to make the game that you play every day.

Unless you design games yourself you need to sit your ass down and let the professionals do what they think is best. Your personal opinion doesn't mean jack in the grand scheme of things.
    • You weren't suggesting, you were talking shit. Don't act like you were being polite with your "feedback" after someone called you out.

You wanna "suggest" things and "give your opinion"? By all means do so, but do it respectfully like the rest of us.

Anyway, revolts are being addressed in the next patch, as freezy said, so let's wait and see.
    • please give me a specific example from what I wrote that was so bad, they were not personal attacks. you are the one using the foul language that usually gets a person banned from this forum. clearly you lack the in-game experience on a global map to understand how 20 - 30 - 50 riot flips really destroys the game play - after 50 days of this, with parking 50 of my units in Congo for over 30 days to keep morale flips from occurring there and at the same time just letting them flip in India and China (where I experience the massive flips as I wiped out Japan). Only reason I called the guy a poor game designer is that they fail to address the comments, and instead say that sorry it is the way the game is suppose to work. I would say they lost some money on that one because there were 3 of us left and I convinced the other 2 to retire rather than play it out and possibly spend some more gold when the three of us got past AI controlled enemies and confronted each other. The massive riot flips made this impossible, and it made the game no fun. I am sticking to the smaller maps until they fix the -39 distance to the capitol which is the main, unrealistic, cause of all of this massive riot flip stuff. So move along Agent47, and let me know how you do playing as Argentina on the global 1939 map where you will start with 6 total units and Japan starts with a massive army and navy. I wiped Japan out and ended up winning that game with the retirement. Be sure to save me a screen shot so we can compare.
