Feel free to correct me if I’m wrong, but as far as I am aware, the view range for each unit is the same regardless of terrain. What if this changed for different terrain, for example, a 25% increase for some units in the mountains, reflecting the difference in visibility between the mountains and the jungle. This would make the game more complicated, but it would also add more aspects of reality and change up strategy a bit.
