if aircrafts in a carrier fleet with other types of naval ships are attacked do you get the defence of other units in the fleet, such as the anti air stats from the cruisers?

Planes that are finished refueling and parked on the deck of the carrier will be considered a part of the group and they will return fire when attacked, just like any other group of units.
Planes parked on the ground also will return fire when attacked except during the brief refueling window.War is a game that is played with a smile. If you can't smile, grin. If you can't grin keep out of the way til you can. - Winston Churchill

While refueling they have convoy stats, once that is completed they have full capabilities.War is a game that is played with a smile. If you can't smile, grin. If you can't grin keep out of the way til you can. - Winston Churchill

So I suppose they should be regarded as a CAP then. -
Refueling planes are vulnerable.
Fully refueled planes are prepared to defend themselves, regardless of location shown.War is a game that is played with a smile. If you can't smile, grin. If you can't grin keep out of the way til you can. - Winston Churchill
