I am sure that by now many of you will have noticed the AI player can be a formidable defence, since that COW made updates to the AI ability, in my opinion it has become more of a task to defeat, rather than an expansionism as previous years meant.
Difficult AI defence to consider, either as a buffer, or as a land grab is;
NSW - good land defence, mostly anti air and amoured car. Hard to break open especially if previous human player has expanded.
Benchuanaland - Again, technical equipment (anti air), may tend to build tanks, light & medium.
Central Russia - watchout for militia, hard to hold ground.
Volga nations - Small central nation, cannot use naval vehicles, easy to defend, the AI will almost always make technicals.
Sweden - If you do not seize this nation with speed, it will only grind out more cost to your efforts.
