    • It appears the enemy unit in the picture is from an espionage snapshot, which can be triggered either by spies or by airplanes. For armies of such an espionage snapshot you see the entire movement path, but only from the orders it had at the time of the snapshot. There is no difference between 1.0 and 1.5 in that regard.

Yep. But dont rely on them too much, the enemy could change them after the snapshot :)
    • Do not ask how an airplane can reveal the future course of an enemy unit for the next 12 hours,
The exploit involved is to patrol over as much enemy territory as possible, and quickly return your aircraft.
When the enemy units are first spotted the future paths are NOT revealed, but as soon as the units are no longer in view, the future paths are shown.
      That makes logical sense, what?
    • It may not make logical sense but it is consistent in airplanes being able to trigger espionage reports, which was always the case. But yeah add it to the list of things in CoW that are simplified for easier usage or technical reasons. For example how upgrading of troops work or how resource upkeep works etc. There are always compromises in a game. It is of course possible that we tackle such things in the future, as we do from time to time.
