      Should this be implemented? 9

So, I was thinking about this new feature that could be implemented. Basically how it works is that next to the resource bar there's this button that looks like a vault. In here there will be columns of each resource, with a plus and minus sign undenreath each one.
When the plus button is pressed, a box comes up where you specify the amount of said resource you wish to 'deposit'.
Once that amount is accepted, the portion of the currently produced resources will get taken off and 'archived' into the vault. This is useful because perhaps later on in the game when resources are produced slower you could tap into this resource vault that you built up and use it then.
To withdraw reources, simply click on the minus sign forementioned, type the amount wanted and accept. You will then recieve the resources, and the total in the vault will decrease.

Bytro this would be such a great feature to implement!

Maybe, you could put this surplus resource in a province so as to make it so other players can steal it. If an opposing army captures it, then your resources in the vault are gone and they go over to the enemy.
It was a good era as a Republic we landed. But then the Russian's land was narrow for him. Ai-ui-ai-jaa, ti-ral-lal-laa, but then, the Russian's land was too narrow for him. Ai-ui-ai-jaa, ti-ral-lal-laa, but then, the Russian's land was too narrow for him. Then the Red Army came like rags, and accompanied by a [sic] mendel was a political print. Ai-ui-ai-jaa, ti-ral-lal-laa, and accompanied by a mendel was a political print. Ai-ui-ai-jaa, ti-ral-lal-laa

I suppose that would make it more realistic. Because in all World Wars there was some country that did transfer their resources to a specific place for safekeeping. An example was the UK, which transferred all its gold reserves to Canada (a part of the British Empire then) in the event of a successful German invasion.
      Cool idea.

    • A good practice is to invest surplus resources into the buildings that improve resource production, starting with your core provinces. This will accomplish what you are trying to do.

    • What would this achieve? I mean, storing it and later retrieving it is exactly the same as having it all the time? The only use would be to save these resources from being "taken" by your enemy when they conquer your land, but this works exactly as designed. In fact here already IS a loophole for that, putting it on the market against an improbable market price; the 10% trading fee was (unjustly, unjustly!!) partly introduced to mitigate this effect.
When the fake daddies are curtailed, we have failed. When their roller coaster tolerance is obliterated, their education funds are taken by Kazakhstani phishers, and their candy bars distributed between the Botswana youth gangs, we have succeeded.

it can help when your resource usage is more than your output so when you have 0 of say for example oil, you can tap into the vault and then get some oil to produce units.
One day there will be no more wars

Heh, so as a workaround to having a negative income? You can put it in the vault, have a "free" negative income for a while, then just get it out and spend what you like?

Also a very, very bad idea.
