In this game, what I find annoying, is that when I want to support your friends (militarily) but you don't want to have war with his enemy.

For example: Lets say Turkey's ally Italy, is being invaded by France. Turkey doesn't want to declare war with France because he is too strong, but he still wants to support his ally Italy. What does he do?

This is where support units come in, so basically for example, You click a on unit/units and there is a button to assign them to a country, when they get assigned to said country, you can still control them but they will be fighting for a different flag, let's say Turkey sends a support unit to Italy to fend off France, When French units and a Turkish support units clash, Turkey and France don't go to war, because this support unit is still Turkish but fighting for Italy. This unit will be wearing something like for example, a support infantry unit will have a white armband indicating that it is a support unit. So basically it is a way to fight a country indirectly. You can also withdraw the support unit and turn them into normal units.

But the catch is, the country your sending units to support, will have to agree on the units, Also you can only send limited units to a country, but as time progress, you can send more and the max you can send late game is 56

If Turkey and Italy are allies and France attacks Italy, Turkey should help Italy if needed. If you are working together your allies core is just as important as your own. If France is too strong for the both of you, the two of you should look for more allies.

However, there should be no reason France is stronger than both of you. If France is too strong then you should not have let France get that strong to begin with, you are basically saying that you already lost the map at this point.

A bigger consideration could be that you can not send support to Italy because it would weaken your core defence. In that respect, Italy is a very poor choice to work together with since you can not offer support without weakening your own defences. Deciding who you ally with is very important, if you are in very poor geographical locations to support each other than maybe being allies is not a good idea.

If you have an ally then touching borders as soon as you can is paramount. That way you have one less border to defend and can use more troops elsewhere. But then, when you form a circle together it does not make sense if you put troops from your joined east to help defend your joined west if there are still threats around your east.

So yeah, pick your allies carefully and if a player is ''to strong'' for your ally, you are in an even bigger mess if your ally gets defeated. Good luck!
