I started an anonymous "[Event] Free For All" three days ago (Game #3694025). 98 players started, there was a 24 hour peace period, we've just finished the second day of activity - and 51 players were declared inactive.
I think the way the game was setup was mistaken. Normally I can click on a new game, and look at the countries available and then back out of the game lobby without joining. With this game, as soon I clicked Join Game, I was randomly allocated a country (which was not mentioned in the description) and I was in the game. I didn't expect this, and clearly neither did 50 others.
I enjoy this game because it's PvP, but I'm on a continent that's 2/3s AI players (not including the normal AI countries). I think you need to reconsider how these games are described, and give players a chance to leave the lobby, like they are used to in other games.
