Im tired of people spamming artillery and being able to shoot and scoot all the time cause they have nothing better to do than sit there and micro-manage artillery, making them invincible. IMO, artillery should have a deploy time of around maybe 15-30 minutes before they can start firing, and when you try to move them when deployed, they will have to "pack up" for another 15-30 minutes before they can start moving again. This will solve the annoying shoot and scoot mechanic that makes active players nearly unstoppable as they can pair AA up with them so you cant even use bombers.

if their tactic is so good why not use it. and plus activity is key it's does matter matter how good your tactics and strategies are if your not active it will fall in the mud. and plus only pro players use this kinda strats and your not going to be encountering them in random lobbies so it all good.( maybe the occasional pro player but still very rare)"I don't know jeff!"

Major battles have been decided by infantry and artillery, that's just how it is.
Infantry, artillery, rocket artillery, anti tank and AA. They are like the perfect marriage, they will take out anything.
Some AC or mot infantry moving in all directions to capture the core cities that players always leave empty.
Powered up by planes that will take out smaller stacks and single units.
Instead of trying to buff his tactics you could learn from your mistakes and try to adopt his tactic.

It's is certainly cheesy but the meta is the meta."I don't know jeff!"

I agree artillery needs to be nerfed. This is a World War II game, not a World War I game. Although, Artillery was useful in World War II, it wasn't the key weapon to victory. It was mainly tanks and bombers that were the key in World War II.

If artillery needs 30 minutes to pack up then only move, it will be too vulnerable to tanks .

I personally think artillery is good enough as it is.... It’s a good unit for strategist players. You need to figure out a way to beat and it and yes being active is very important
-
There are no ways to beat it sometimes. If you send motorized infantry they simply have rocket arty. If you send commandos they simply have armored cars.
-
Yes so that’s good for them. This is a strategy game
-
It doesn't take any strategy to use artillery at all. Its also not realistic in the first place. If it was then no one would use tanks in World War II in the first place.

I meant the part about using armored cars and rocket arty

I’ve never seen someone do that in my CoW playing time. I mean there are probably some ways to kill the artillery

I mean you can try launching rockets at them. and at the same time you move your army so it forces a bit of dilemma on them. do they move out of the way of rockets?? Or do they bomb your incoming army. if they decided to move u send 1 fast unit to catch them and hold them in combat and then wait for the rest of your army to catch them and go to battle. Or use your own artillery and have an artillery v artillery battle"I don't know jeff!"

Rockets are not always accurate. There's something called moving your troops. If they had to pack up then it would be much better. Less damage would also be acceptable.
