I seldom pay much attention to the gold pay-outs. So maybe this is how it always was. It does not seem logic though.
A long game just ended with my coalition winning. To my surprise, I see the newspaper mention the pay out in this way:
These players got the following pay outs:
(Italy) : 2200,- gold COALITION 1, 1500 points, 1st place of nations.
(USA) : 1720,- gold COALITION 2
(Canada) : 1170,- gold COALITION 2
(Manchukuo) : 960,- gold COALITION 2
(Xinjiang) : 2260,- gold NO COALITION, 560 points, 3rd place of nations.
(Australia) : 2200,- gold COALITION 1
(Sweden) : 2200,- gold COALITION 1
Coalition 1 won. But why does Xinjiang get more gold than the winning coalition players? And why do the players in coalition 2 get different pay outs when coalition 1 players get the same?
I don't care if Xinjiang gets 60 extra gold I just wonder if this isnt wrong?
