[NRPU] Hearts of War : 1930 Roleplay

The war had ended.... People of the world returned to their homes, some baring the shame of defeat, others to countries that no longer existed, but not the Germans...The German army and the German people believed they where winning the war until the very end. After all, they had routed the Russian armies and forced them to surrender because of the ongoing fighting and civil war.

They had enjoyed victory after victory in this war, yet now the politicians returned saying they had surrendered?Not only that, but German East Africa was now in the hands of the British permanently, that they owed the allies more then the entire GDP of Germany for 100 years, and that not only the Kaiser, but his children must abdicate?Many where upset with this news but they didn't have the strength or will to resist... That is until the Weimar republic suffered rebellion after rebellion, failed to take action against the French occupying the Rhineland, and failing to represent German interests on the world stage.

Elsewhere in the world, many were beginning to awaken to their own views of national identity and aimed to separate from their overlords while some aimed to stay tied to their leaders.Many economists predicted a catastrophic collapse was coming to the world as the 1920s was coming to a close, and they were right. Nation after nation fell to civil war and internal strife. America fell apart and Canada was destabilized to the point where it followed suit. The Russian Civil War raged on. The Chinese Warlord era was just getting started. Brazil Fell into flames for the greatest internal conflict in its history.

Various Mechanics for the RP:

League of Nations
The League of Nations is an organization formed to promote disarmament, collective security, negotiation, diplomacy and to improve and ensure global welfare for all people of the free world. It has been determined by the main admin that the rules are to be historical and are clearly difficult to maintain properly. It will be up to the membership in this RP to either reform this decrepit husk of an organization, or to leave it to its inevitable collapse and doom. If properly reformed, it can become an immensely powerful force in this round.

International Competitions
International competitions in the form of major international sports or Olympics will take place every few years in order to provide Tech points to winners and to provide further interest for the players in the RP that may be waiting on specific events or situations to take place. Nations involved in Civil Wars are unable to participate, however may still bet on results.
